From the OP: I am almost done at this point, I need to scribble something for the Haradas and Satomi-sensei and we should have everyone worth a darn in the show, so I use this chance to ask something to any future editors of this page:

I said Ibuki is the only one with a completed Growth Arc. I am pretty confident that is true. I am also quite confident that Agedama does not have a growth arc. Throughout the series, he uh, learns to skate? Otherwise, he does not get stronger, he does not get smarter in his tactics, he does not show significant maturity growth as a person - among other things he was still bickering with Rei to the last. If someone can actually detect a Growth Arc (even if he did not get to complete it), I would really like to know what it is and how much progress he made.

The question is Rei. If she has an arc at all, it will be to work with other people as equals and appreciate ordinary values. Needless to say, she does not make it, but how much progress should she be credited with? I did mention she kind of learns her place as the series goes on, and the threats to fire and expel get fewer. In fact, her reaction in episode 28 to compete with Ibuki in making a fanclub, even if she is going to use heavy bribes, is a great improvement. If it does not make her normal, at least it brings her close to anime-typical Ojou territory.

On the other hand, every time her grandfather\'s influence in the school increases all her bad habits come back out (21, 33-35), so it seems like she\'s only internalizing the (relatively) good behavior rather than making it intrinsic. Is that growth? Or should I treat internalization as an embryonic stage of growth?

Or just three weeks (episodes) after seeming to learn how precious even 3000-yen is, she blows up her family\'s regional airliner? She does, after nearly being killed by Modam, kind of came close to acting like a normal person in episode 51, but after that one above I am very dubious of any one-episode performances from Rei (not to mention she tried to have Agedama kill Ibuki again, just two episodes earlier).

So, I deliberately leave out the trope concerning her character growth, and defer to the next person to come whether to include it.
