@Matt620 I watched the cisgender boy option on YouTube prior to this discussion. From what I could understand, it sounded more like Mackey was telling your parents \"Hey, your child is cisgender but they don\'t have to be\" than \"Hey your child says their cisgender. Is that true?\"

Yes, it is a joke. It\'s a BreakingTheFourthWall and mistaking one\'s gender joke. Mackey calls the Stick of Truth by name and says you were a girl the whole time during the events of SoT IF you choose the girl option. Initially being a boy in SoT doesn\'t negate that because Mackey also says \"everyone was under the impression that she was a boy\" in clear reference to SoT. It\'s a {{Retcon}}.

So calling yourself a cis girl means, within the story of FbW (which this page is focused on), that you were a girl during the events of SoT and nobody noticed. That\'s the funny part.

From your wording, what I\'m gathering is that you\'re saying the New Kid isn\'t a cis girl in FbW because they were a boy in SoT. Thus making them trans regardless of which female option you pick. Again, the joke is that they mistook you for a male if you\'re a cis female. If you were a trans female, then the confusion makes sense since the New Kid never speaks and thus never would\'ve clarified their transgenderism. So the characters would refer to them by her biological sex by force of habit,

@Berrenta I fail to see how this is a RuleOfCautiousEditingJudgement issue considering the issue doesn\'t sound like a complex, real-world issue to me. Just a question of wether or not the New Kid can be considered female in the previous game because of the dialogue of the next game.

How about this then:

* \"If you decide to play as a girl, the New Kid will be said to have been mistaken for a boy [[{{Retcon}} (despite clearly being a boy in the Stick of Truth)]], and [[FailedASpotCheck nobody noticed otherwise until now]]. The kicker? The boys constantly take note of your feminine features throughout the game, yet somehow \'\'never\'\' figure out that you\'re actually a girl.\"

I\'m leaving out the trans thing since trans people dress themselves up to better suit their preferred gender.

I\'m leaving out the trans thing since trans males dress themselves up to be as masculine as possible.
