Castles, swords and archery evolved over time, were not \"always\" used, or even for that long (especially castles), and did not have the same importance at all times. Gunpowder and electricity accelerated change, but they didn\'t create it, and I\'m not sure they should be mentioned ahead of other changes like sailing, the printing press or steam (just to name a few) in terms of the technological change they brought.
