I understand, and won't argue against, not including any RealLife example of a PhonyPsychic. That said, I'd like to know if mentioning Harry Houdini, well-known historically for chasing down and exposing many [[PhonyPsychic]]s in the later part of his life (a well-doumented, famous, unambiguous fact, which ''has'' been referenced in multiple media) would count as an aceptable example of DefiedTrope under the TruthInTelevision heading (obviously, with no mention of ''whom'' he did or didn't expose).
