Loki's actions against the Frost giants seem to be less bigotry and more revenge. He dosn't really get mad at them until he finds out that Laufi left him to die as an infant.

Think back to Laufi\'\'s remarks about Odin at the beginning of the film. Laufi not only left Loki to die, he seems to hold a grudge against Odin for saving Loki\'s life. Remember Loki may be lacking someone in wisdom given some of the stupid things he has done, but he does have a very high intellegence. I was able to see that connection the first time I saw the movie.
