hey, its me again after like a damn year. could i play HABIT from everymanHYBRID? He's basically a spirit possessing a guy named Evan (my current avator ofc), and he's very very Ax-Crazy.

Hey. Gamemaster for We Are Our Avatars here. Popping in to say hello and thank you for showing some interest in the game...and be amazed this place is still here, considering I've not dropped into the forums for some time.

This is admittedly a bit of an awkward time to say hi to you. After some months of inactivity thanks to real life getting in the way, and some personal discussion regarding TV Tropes as a whole, I've been starting up a server on Discord to continue the original game's semi-ongoing narrative structure. A lot of the more regular names for the game are in there to help me work it out until it's open to the public, as it were.

So, further participation on the part of the gamemaster is going to be a bit silent while I'm working out the bugs to it. As far as posting goes, there's not much more beyond the rules stated there. The game is still pretty freeform for a forum roleplaying game so in that sense you're free to jump in, but I would consider it an inactive game for now unless things change or someone requires me to step in.

Thanks for showing interest though, though. Throw me a line via the PM if you want any details on particulars on the Discord server, and I'll answer where I can.

As an official notice, the tvtropes WeAreOurAvatars roleplay therad is being put on lock by request. If it'll come off in the future, I don't know, but it seems for now what games are left on TV Tropes are best allowed to rise to the top instead of this game getting a random necro every year.

The game itself has a pair of continuations of sorts on our private discord. A continuation to the game itself, and to its sister game We Are Our Adventuring Avatars. If you want to check either out, feel free to PM either me, Imca, HilarityEnsues, or I suppose Sparty Mcfly if he's still on here somewhere. Or any of the old crew, if they come to me to agree to take invites.

Otherwise, if you wanna make your own We Are Our Avatars alike or continuation on tvtropes, feel free to make your own! Post it on Forum Games, in the Roleplaying Discussion, on your own forum, wherever. Heck, I might join myself. Just, maybe not as a gamemaster. I've held that position over ten years by now, I just want to fade back into the background as a regular old player for now.

That's all I've got to say for now. Thanks for your interest and participation over the many years, both to my greatest friends and even to all the derps, you made the game what it is.
