Is anyone here familiar with a variety of virtual tabletop software? Right now, there are a lot of games I want to run, and I have nothing more effective than AIM to run them with. I used to use OpenRPG but the program kept crashing. I'm looking at Glittercomm presently, dunno yet. Anyone got a recommendation?

I love using J Paranoia. It adds a lot to the game, in my opinion.

That's unfortunately a little too specific, as I intend to play mostly D&D, maybe some Scion and Exalted.

Right now my plan is to use Maptools. Anyone else familiar with it?

Here is a comprehensive list of virtual tabletop software, and even a link to a feature comparison chart for some of the most popular virtual tabletop programs: http://www.battlegroundsgames.com/links.html#anchor6

If you found this information useful, please take a look at Battlegrounds (my own creation) by going here: http://www.battlegroundsgames.com/nutshell.html

You can also try rpol.net if you are looking to play tabletop games online.

I am a ST on a World of Darkness tabletop chat, so... it happens.
