The Witch's Curse discussion thread

Just a general purpose for The Witch's Curse game.

Yeah. Does anybody want me to start the game in a prologue the day before the Witch comes? It would give you a chance to test out your characters' personalities and such.

Hrm, how deep should I delve into my character(s) psyche? I mean, changing genders is a pretty big issue. Sexually, they would just be a mess. But I don't want to turn this into something risqué for the sake of it. What do y'all think?

So, did you ever agree to having Penelope like your character, Hyrdrall? If you did, I didn't catch it. ^_^;

And a Prolougue sounds lovely~

And, AHR, I find delving into the Psyche to be a fun thing~ I'd say go for it. ^_^ Perhaps even have their "foil" personalities be aware of the psychological problems, and actually playing devil's advocate with them?

I am going to delve, it's just the level of detail I'm sketchy about. I mean, I'm sure I could have an entire monologue of the male turned female realizing that he doesn't get an erection any more, making him semi relieved of his current state. Not to mention menstruation and all of that stuff. And on the female's end, you have suddenly being constantly mildly stimulated by cloth, and a huge amount of testosterone.

See my dilemma?

... Honestly? I'd love to see a realisitic delve into the psyche based on their forced Gender Bender state. And honestly, those sound like reasonable topics I'd like to hear about. On the downside? That seems a bit too... detailed for my tastes. So maybe touch upon them, but not write an entire monologue for each?

Yeah, I mean, it would only be an amateur's go at it, but I think I could do it semi- OK. However, the amount of detail is what I was asking opinion's about.

A H R: Sounds... Interesting, actually, although a Deconstruction (Or something) of Gender Bender is a bit out of place in a fairy tale, which is what I assume the feel we're going for is.

I don't think deconstruction is the right word. It's just a basic examination of what they have to go through...

Then again, my character isn't even accepted completely yet. Will have to wait for that.

Well, since this is a (relatively) small village, he probably does all of the above- work the fields, help the family, etc.

What's the time setting anyway?

@Hydrall, I alluded to that, remember? It makes sense(to me), and makes Penelope's "Chokodere"ness(I made up the dere word, so sue me. >.<) make a little more sense. 'Cause he's everywhere on a given day.

Also, why do I get the feeling that Oscar's master is going to turn out Tsundere for him? ... just a hunch.

Penelope is about 17 or so. I said "Small girl" but I was thinking more along the lines of "short teen"

@Hydrall, If he does, watch as he gets a yandere, a kuudere, an maybe either a dandere or a "darudere"(not made up by me, but not very popular as a character type...)

@Scholastica, I have no clue, actually. XD Charlie sounds vaguely like she could develope into Yandere, what with the two personalities being as they are... Skye is a rather obvious Tsundere, to me... Bethany might be Dandere or Kuudere, I'm not sure(I can hardly tell the difference between them, myself...) And I purposefully made Penelope into my "Chokodere", as a way of testing the character type to see if it's actually workable. If so, I might have to find a way to bring it into modern usage...

Chokodere...? Like in Strangled by the Red String?

@Hydrall, I made up the term, I've said that before. ^_^; Think kind of Genki Girl meets Shrinking Violet, with those being downplayed and an up-playing on not wanting to face their crush, and making only pin-point comments to them when they have to speak to them. ^_^; Choko Choko mean always moving, or tottering.

Oh, I see... That makes sense.
