Vampires based on a jazz-age theme rather than the usual gothic-type one.
Okay, well, since I've been on a kick about reading aboout them lately, here are some ideas for Abyssal Beings:
- A joke one that is the most delicious pie in the world, so delicious that when you see it you immediately start eating it, and it regenerates in about a day after being eaten, but it gives the eater explosive diarreah after eating it, making the joke that not every Abyssal Being can be terror-inspiring god-abominations and that there is always someone at the bottom of the totem pole no matter where you look.
- A cartoon that's like a cross between one of those weird old Betty Boop cartoons and the HP Lovecraft short story Nyarlathothep that slowly "leaks" out into the real world the more people watch it.
- A material that makes anything made out of it work better, but slowly fuses with its user (Which it makes extremely posessive of the object) and polymerizes it into a horrifying hybrid of the object and the user (EG .A car made out of it would create a horrifying fleshy Transformer-ish man/car hybrid, a gun made out of it would make a man/gun hybrid with fleshy protuberances that shoots bullets made out of bone, etcetera)
- An object that consumes other objects of the same kind and grows bigger and more feral-looking (IE, lots and lots of mouths and eyes) and gains power over the area in which the object works (EG, A clock controls time, a gun shoots flaming bullets of horrible abyssal protoplasm, a computer starts taking over electronics, etc.) the more it eats, until eventually it starts eating people. It has to be destroyed by being destroyed and "consumed" (The definition of which varies at GMs disgression) by an object bigger than itself of the same type

Dreamer, eh? That stuff is more like High Octane Nightmare Fuel...
"what the complete, unabridged, 4k ultra HD fuck with bonus features" - Mark Von LewisOf course, that's the point!
Anyway, this thread isn't just supposed to be another thread where I futilely spout off ideas, if anyone else has any ideas that they think could help spark the imaginations of other Storytellers looking for what to do for their next game, post them here!
Float around a rumor in a city ruled by vampires about a "human" who might have the power to ease the Hunger.
You decide if it is only a rumor or not. Or if the person is worth the power struggle or is hungry for power himself/herself (plus points for an androgynous character).
Got this idea after watching Casshern Sins.
Innocence is overrated. At least, virginity has concrete proof.Fir Hunter, pair of vampires decide they want a child, so they plan to kidnap and embrace one, you try to stop them.
Life's Gonna Suck When You Grow Up... But Is It That Great Now?... Also I'm Skylark2 now.The three big supernaturals- Vampires, Werewolves, and Mages- finally get a treaty signed about leaving each other alone.
Make players try to keep this from going to hell. :D
Yes, I am a Killer Game Master, why do you ask?
Using the Temenos as a source for Elseworld/What-if stories. A cabal can easily slip into a Realm where they could play out movies or genres they might be fans of. Get into the Star Wars Realm and fight for the Empire! Go into a Romero Realm and see just how well the cabal could work in surviving a zombie apocalypse! Are you Team Jacob? Get into that Realm and make it so!
WOOF!The Banisher cabal you've been tracking turn out to be a former cell of the Long Night. This would be odd in itself, but after some digging you learn that they all Awoke at the exact same time - and all as Obrimos. How did this happen? Is there something that can reliably cause an Awakening? A location? An action? Is their Path related to their blood-and-thunder vocation?
Or, perhaps worst of all for the Awakened, could their claims that God has empowered them to hunt witches...be true?
Basically, this is a place to deposit ideas for any Storytellers on here to draw from when they aren't feeling particularly creative that night. I'll start off with a few:
