Mind-Control Device is a supertrope that covers a lot of territory. Hypno Trinket looks to me like a valid subtrope, if it's narrowed down to "A mind-control device that is worn or carried by the controlled character, usually in the form of a garment or piece of jewelry" rather than the vague definition it has now.

...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.I didn't realize there was a broader trope, or I would have narrowed it down from the beginning (I suggested and wrote up the trope).
So I'll fix the definition.
EDIT: Done.

I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid. Then all the tropes need are linking and sorting examples. That shouldn't take too long.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickIt's true that Mind Control Device is a very generic trope. If Hypno Trinket is narrowed down enough and some examples switched between the tropes, it should be legit. There will still be some unavoidable overlap, of course.
Already done.

Can someone has an idea how Hypno Trinket is anything but a duplicate of Mind-Control Device? Maybe I'm not looking at it carefully enough, but the definition seems extremely close, and all the examples seems to be already in Mind-Control Device.
I'd suggest delete Hypno Trinket and making it a redirect to Mind-Control Device until every wick is corrected.
