You are seriously reigniting my desire to learn how to shoot at a firing range.
My FF.net accountI really need to buy me the guns I've always wanted. Or at least the subset of them legal in California.
Shame that .455 Webley ammo is about a buck a round most places. Half that or less if you get it modified to fire .45ACP instead.

A brighter future for a darker age.@Zudak: Hmm, did a little research on yours; they're fine, but be careful because they aren't the most durable headphones.
Reminds me of when my original headphones broke, and I subconciously picked Audio Technica ones as a replacement. These old boys are the ATH-M20 series, with a metal-and-sponge frame, and great sound quality, paired with a spring-shaped cable. Funny how I never tried anything by Sennheiser, must be their fearsome price tags.
Another new item to stay on topic: Tried out a new ballpoint pen after almost 10 years of using the old and trusty Pilot G2 series. It's a Uni ballpoint that has a liquid/pigment ink, and an auto-release catch that triggers when you clip it in. Also got something rather naughty that any former 4channer will recognise by catchphrase alone: lifelike texture ;_;

As I've mentioned last page, I got a new set of Pioneer in-ear earphones. Specifically, the silver-coloured SE-CL 20 U-X-S model.

My FF.net accountYeah, when I went to the range my boss said I was paying and that he wanted 100 rounds of .45 federal match grade hydroshocks. He loved the way my eyes bulged until I figured out by the grin that he was joking.
We used a bunch of his reloads instead. I just paid the range fee.
Edit: Congrats on the dildo scarab. Or is it a blowup doll?!

Neato, Scarab. I do quite like the sound quality in these, and they're pretty comfy, too. I know what you mean about fragile, though... at least I managed to put them back together.
@barkey: Not... exactly... It's more of an oppai ball.
@Zudak: Which part broke then? My original headphones broke at the joint where the headband met the earpiece.

The three finest things in life are to splat your enemies, drive them from their turf, and hear their lamentations as their rank falls!Which reminds me of the Fate Testarossa mousepad with tracts of land that I nearly bought.
My FF.net accountAhh, well fun regardless.
That same part, Scarab.
Those kinds of mousepad aren't as good at wrist support as a proper one, like the cool mobile wrist-rest with the sliding-foot base that Fellowes sent to our shop lately.
Getting of pair of those makes for a more comfortable pillow at night though. It must be some kind of placebo effect.
Another new item: (Genuine) Bolt DVD, bought on the cheap at S$13.95.

I will keep my soul in a place out of sight, Far off, where the pulse of it is not heard. You know, so when you use your mouse, your wrist goes right there.
New loot: Sonic Gear's Ear Pump Pro (inner-earphones, cobalt blue). I dig their metallic casing and the freebies provided (mini-stereo signal splitter, in-flight headphone jack adaptor, travel case, and very generous helpings of silicon earbud inserts of various sizes). 3 things of note:
- The audio is incredibly clear, so clear it's almost painfully sharp. Must be the metal body.
- The bass ports built into the casing improve the bass very well, but they also let sound leak outside of the earphones when in use.
- The L/R markings are tiny.
Ray-Ban aviator shades obtained.

Today, I got a figurine of Will from Dark Void in his jet suit. I got it for participating in a Gamespot trivia contest (I think it was a consolation prize, because I wasn't one of the first to answer, and I don't even think I answered the question correctly, but still...yay!).

It's fun to shoot alright Mapi, No. Recoil. At. All. The thing shoots like a dream when I shot my bosses(His GUN, I didn't shoot my boss, he's a great guy and any replacement would be a downgrade.) today. The irons were right on target so it was accurate as well, and absolutely no noise almost. It was like smacking a block of wood with minimal force.
Of course it would get lame in time, there's no challenge to a completely accurate weapon that involves zero compensation for recoil or muzzle jump. Plus it lacks in destructive power.
