Reading the Bible Online Rant. I love it.

Indeed, the idea of the Bible as an MMORPG is very amusing. I'd love to see how that works out; Bile Fascination doesn't even begin to cover the idea.

As for today's update, I do love the shirt, yet another in the endless series of Take Thats against would-be Moral Guardians. I've heard about Microsoft raising the prices for XBL, or whatever, but since I don't own an XBox, I have no investment in the subject.

Did anyone notice the t-shirt on the guy getting his ultimatum call? —- Yes I did and I lol'd. You just know they did it to piss off the people who were offended by the Dickwolves strip. Honestly, if they make a real t-shirt out of that, I'd buy it.

"David? JRPG." I laughed even if I didnt understood why...

Though I think the Free My People quest is more like you have to unleash 10 plagues on Egypt. Altough even if it is your pet (the Angel of Death) killing all the firstborn it can take some time - according to the Lore in this particular franchise, IIRC, it included livestock.

Edit: And now I remember that guy in the bible who needs A High Number of Foreskins from filistees or whatever it was. Ran as a typical quest, you would end up killing ten times as many guys, 90% of which mysteriously lack foreskins! XD

Is that a Blast-Ended Skrewt?

Please tell me I wasn't the only one to think that when he mentioned "pinching, stinging, and burning".

xD I love the subtle Harry Potter refference with the creature in the last panel! Glad they got the comic up earlier this time since the last one went up late on Friday night.

I don't think so.

Also, I think the main thing about this comic is that it was how I found out that DNF was actually playable at PAX. That's just mindboggling. It feels like the gravitational constant of the universe has changed or something.

The real question is whether it's actually any good. I have a feeling it's going to turn into the next Daikatana.

Who the hell cares? At this point people are expecting to be the next ET for the Atari 2600, so being Daikatana would be exceeding expectations. Everyones expectations for this thing are roick bottom now, but they'll still buy it anyway cause they feel they have to. Its like the perfect project.

I'm more excited about The Trenches. The character designs have made me curious.

Today's strip is pretty good too. I lol'd pretty hard. It was fun to see just how much the art has evolved!

Okay the comic made me laugh but forget that. The newspost damn near brought a tear to my eye. Especially that last sentence.

I busted up laughing out loud when I read the strip.

The news post was really sweet. It's great that she's so supportive. Makes it obvious how much of Tycho's Hilariously Abusive Childhood is made up.

I chuckled at today's comic as usual, but like others seem too, I found the news post was a huge tearjerker. I got the incredible urge to go and give my mother a hug. This is one of the things that makes Penny Arcade so fucking good: underneath all the satire and dick jokes, it has a heart.
