Trope Finder is a threaded discussion page dedicated to finding those poor little lost tropes. It works kind of like a forum, but all inquiries are visible on the same page, together with all replies.
To add an inquiry, click "find a trope". Please describe what you're looking for in enough detail to let other tropers help you out, and include a work it appears in for context, if applicable.
Other resources for finding tropes include the Title Search feature on the Tools sidebar menu(if you want to try it by name) and Google Custom Search at the top of each page.
Posts in this forum asking for help in identifying tropes will be locked and redirected to Trope Finder. If you can't find the trope you're looking for, the next step is to take it to YKTTW.
