I really don't see the distinction the plural adds, (Resignations Are Not Accepted would be much clearer - added that just for completeness), but even that's a little bit better than the original name.
^I don't know about you, but that name seems pretty ambiguous, and there are multiple "ways out" of the organization (hiding somewhere they can't find you, destroying the organization, inciting a mass revolt of members, etc.). Anyways, this discussion seems to be at a standstill. What needs to be done so it can be resolved?
^ We're waiting for the crowner to stabalize. It takes a few days and discussion dies down while it does.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickResignations Not Accepted currently has 16-7 in favor.
Fight smart, not fair. And the next nearest is +2... vs +11.

Pacta sunt servanda, bitch!Let it run over the weekend. It will probably still be stable by Monday afternoon.
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.^ Alright then.
Did the rename to Resignations Not Accepted, and changed the links. You Can Never Leave will remain a redirect now, though it might become a different trope in the future. Some of the examples on Resignations Not Accepted look dubious; there may be some confusion between this trope and Mandatory Unretirement (there's a subtle distinction to be made here).
Copied over the discussion and the YKTTW link. Thank you for your work. Locking this thread.

Crown Description:
Vote up for yes, down for no.
^ Agree. I can concoct a scene where Resignation S were not being accepted, but it's vastly overshadowed by the sort of situation actually in the trope.
It's pretty popular in the crowner also.
