This thread is for quick questions. A "quick question" is a question which has a relatively quick, generally factual answer; a question which is not likely to inspire an extended discussion.
e.g.
Quick Question: How tall is an average ten-year-old boy?
Not a Quick Question: Why are Americans obsessed with guns?
Quick Question: Why is ALS sometimes called Lou Gehrig's Disease? Who was Lou Gehrig?
Not a Quick Question: In Alan Dean Foster's Thranx Commonwealth series, is Pip a Mary Sue?
Get the idea?

- What was that movie where a computer developed a crush on a girl?
No, not that one. It was an eighties movie.

Troper page Nothing interesting here, move along...Because they're deleted.
Gone.
But you linked to a thread that I can't see here, and I'm curious as to why.
Troper page Nothing interesting here, move along...That's from before it got deleted (which was earlier this month).
^Oh. Would it be a bad idea to ask what it was about?
There's also some archived threads in the Master List of Liveforuming, which I can't access either.
Troper page Nothing interesting here, move along...It was about Perverse Sexual Lust.
Electric Dreams perhaps?
That's It! Electric Dreams! Thank You! XD

Obligatory self promotion: http://unemployedacademic.tumblr.com/^Uh...I don't know what s/he's talking about.
Also, if it's okay to post You Know That Show questions in this thread, then I have three Sega Genesis games that I really want to remember the name of:
- Some sort of top-down game where you played as a soldier, with two different play modes. It was a one word title, I think.
- A game starring an angel or cupid, where one of the first levels was somewhere in the clouds.
- A boxing game where you could do different things between matches to increase various stats.

Troper page Nothing interesting here, move along...Sorry for the bump/double post, but I remembered another game whose name escapes me; I think it's also a Genesis title:
- A game where you fly a jet, shooting down enemy aircraft. The view was always from the cockpit, and there was a timer that was continuous from level to level; when it ran out, it was game over. I never did get to the end...
I can only think of Jet Wave Racer or something.
Anyway, why is the WMG Guy wearing a Tinfoil hat?
♥♥II'GSJQGDvhhMKOmXunSrogZliLHGKVMhGVmNhBzGUPiXLYki'GRQhBITqQrrOIJKNWiXKO♥♥Yeah that!
"Besides, everyone's hairsexual for Waltzy's braid." -Juan CarlosYoutube doesn't show any results for that game; none of the games were racing games, either. I was talking about the aircraft kind of jet.
Because WMG = conspiracy theories?
Why is it considered OK to make fun of Tom Cruise by implying he's gay, but not OK to make fun of Elena Kagan by implying she's gay?
I think I know the reason, but I'm interested in seeing how people respond.
Currently taking a break from the site. See my user page for more information.Yes, though be ready to do some potentially icky integrals/sums to get there.
And I'm linking those Wikipedia pages because they were considerably more helpful than my actual statistics course, professor, and textbook combined :|
This might seem Attention Whore-ish, but I'm kinda irritated that no one's bothered to answer most of my questions in this thread. They are, as follows:
- This Giant Bomb Quick Look is filled with Brad Garrett hate, and no reason is given, outside of the possibility that Everybody Loves Raymond wasn't a good show. I'm also annoyed and disturbed by the "There should be a game about killing him" thing.
- I'd like to know what the titles of these Sega Genesis games are (the fourth one might not be one...):
- Some sort of top-down game where you played as a soldier, with two different play modes. It was a one word title, I think.
- A game starring an angel or cupid, where one of the first levels was somewhere in the clouds.
- A boxing game where you could do different things between matches to increase various stats.
- A game where you fly a jet (the aircraft kind), shooting down enemy aircraft. The view was always from the cockpit, and there was a timer that was continuous from level to level; when it ran out, it was game over. I never did get to the end...
- Alternatively, a link to a list of all (or most) Genesis titles might work too.

What's this? An alternative site for You Tube or something else?
EDIT: Huh, it's not linking to the right page.

♥♥II'GSJQGDvhhMKOmXunSrogZliLHGKVMhGVmNhBzGUPiXLYki'GRQhBITqQrrOIJKNWiXKO♥♥I'm not sure what you're talking about...
Also, I found the games I was talking about:
- The top down game is called Mercs.
- I got some things wrong about the angel/cupid game (Mega Twins/Chiki Chiki Boys); apparently the main character is a warrior, and the heaven stage is the second one.
- Boxing game is Greatest Heavyweights of the Ring.
- Jet game is G-LOC Air Battle. It also seems that there aren't a lot of videos on this one...
What were those toy cars that could open up to reveal monsterous teeth called?

You know what, related to the OP:
I'm sure I remember a cartoon series with a similar theme. That of different sets of instruments in a war against each other. Or was it instruments against music-hating dudes, or something?
It was a series from the 80s or 90s, I think.
