Hmm. Messing with the plot now, is he? Well, if it means we get to have a penguin obsessed, voiced by Takahata101, Tea for a while, I suppose that's acceptable.

Again, I'd find it hilarious if Tristan turns out to be the only non-Yugi to not lose his body. I suppose we'll know which way it's going after the next episode.

...I never watched the original show this far, and now I can only wonder what the fuck the people writing this were smoking.

^ Well, just to put this in perspective, in the actual series, Téa won, because Dark Magician Girl as a deckmaster lets her play any Dark Magician Family card from the deck of anyone nearby, and Yugi was nearby.

...yeah.

There's a reason that even after the season that featured someone creating a superhero costume out of their goddamn cards and then punching someone, a move that literally could not have a basis in any other goddamn setting, that this arc is the one called the Big Lipped Alligator season

I can't wait until LK reaches that arc. I mean, the Power Ranger suits where stupid enough, but when it gets to duelling Dartz... I haven't seen blatant rule breaking since Duelist Kingdom, and the rules didn't even exist then!

I hope he keeps the Bob Dylan voice.

That wasn't blatant rule breaking, none of the cards used in that arc have ever or possibly could ever exist or be rationalised to exist. That was playing a completely different game.

Hey, the double card-armor suits were awesome.

It was also completely insane, as it would be impossible to do without holograms and no police, as it requires assault. I'm pretty sure if you punched your oppinent in the face in a tournment, you;'d be thrown out Though I wouldn't mind seeing someone try it.

I'm pretty sure that if you mind-read your opponent, swapped with what is essentially a proxy player, took advice from another player in-game, or a number of other things, you'd be thrown out.

And anyway, it wasn't a sanctioned tournament and it did have holograms.

I'm not sure, but I think that psychics and sentient spirits dwelling within jewellry aren't covered by Konamis rules.

And I doubt there are cards that actively require that you engage in that, unlike the aforementioned punching in the face.

Man, Screw the Rules, I Have Plot! doesn't even cover half of the insanity that is this show.

^^ Yes, but psychic powers or no, it still boils down to you reading your opponent's hand, or soliciting outside help, or what have you. The medium, pardon the pun, doesn't matter.

And the armorcards probably don't require you to punch the guy in the face. But for those particular combatants, I'm willing to bet they both considered it a bonus.

Y'know, I really want to go to a Yu-Gi-Oh tournament one day and act like it's a LARP- that is, like a character from the show. Wear one of those huge toy duel disk thingies, constantly talk about friendship and the Heart of the Cards and assorted gibberish, and when in battle DECLARE EVERY CARD I PLAY LOUDLY and constantly explain every strategy and rule.

Just to see whether the "Stop Having Fun" Guys explode or die laughing.

I saw someone at a convention do that once. She was dressed as Duke Devlin. The others didn't really care and just proceeded to destroy her in about three turns.

^^The point is you can't exactly prove they're doing it unless you believe in it. Punching in the face, meanwhile, is something you can bloody well verify.

And I'd also like to know how else you attack with a fist thats attached to your fist.

And then there's the fact that despite it being a hologram, Joey uses his suit to fly. Yeah, that happened.

^^^There's a reason it has its own folder on the trope page.

Was the Seal of Orichalcos in play when he flew? Because man, that crap does weird stuff.

What if Tea never gets her body back in the Abridged Universe? Have it be totally obvious she's possessed, with no one ever catching on. It's completely insane, and it would mean getting rid of the hilarious Tea character, but it might just be worth it, and I could see LK doing something like that.

Wouldn't that mean he'd have to involve the guest star who's doing the voice for every episode?

I knew there was something odd there(Tea losing), out of the depths of my memory I remembered some kinda stupid bullshit like that. Anyway I think Tristan will lose his body, we need the robot monkey arc.

You will never love a women as much as George Lucas hates his fans.

And then the conclusion of Noahs Arc (I want to punch whoever came up with that pun), and the return of Melvin.

Although, if Melvin is working for 4Kids, and they will have killed 4Kids by the time the arc is over....hows that supposed to work?

^^^^It will be, don't worry. Remember in one of the earlier episodes, Tristan says "I can't wait until I get my own episode!'

-crickets chirp-

"It's never going to happen is it?"

Tea: Do the words robot monkey mean anything to you?
