— TV Tropes Forum RPG Guide —
The TV Tropes Forum RPG zone is divided into 3 different zones, normal RPs usually have a thread in each of these.
- Role Playing Singups: The first place to go in order to join a game or start your own. In this place the GMs post the basic settings, story and rules of the RPs and the players post their own characters and wait for approval to start posting in the game proper.
- Role Playing Discussion: Where all the OC talk goes, like discussing character actions and a place to ask questions.
- Role Playing: This zone is where the actual Role Playing takes place.
Please do refer to the Role Playing Rules for the guidelines on which this section of the Forum operates. Different R Ps have their own rules, though the ones outlined in the Role Playing Rules thread cover the basics of what is enforced here.

Done, and done Firock Finion.
I think I'll start a Chatterbox thread for Roleplayers some time in the future.

If I'm sure of something it's that I'm not sure of anything.Just one little nitpick—Beat Grid actually IS planned out to have a loose structure in that it has "days" and "scenes", though actual plot will be left up to the players. Besides that, it's fine.
Thanks!
You are reading this.I'm still closed (may re-open soon, depending on what Sean says, but I have a new description.
Roll To Dodge: MI6
You are a team of agents sent to Brasillia, Brazil to destroy minor drugs cartel Carnifica. This RPG follows Roll To Dodge rules, and is immune to Munchkins and Min-Maxing because of this.
Curse the ill fortune that led you to me.Generic description has been changed to a better one.
If I'm sure of something it's that I'm not sure of anything.Merci beaucoup. Oui, je parle le Français!
Curse the ill fortune that led you to me.If you did not notice, there has been no post in my Histoical Island RP, so it sorta counts as stalled, I will try to revive it.
I was thinking about a gameshow set in 2030. The game? the deadliest.
UN JOUR JE SERAI DE RETOUR PRÈS DE TOISo, I've been tossing around the idea of an RP set in the Nanoha-verse. I was thinking either following the Strikers timeline, creating other things for the PCs to do along the way, or maybe doing something more original (which I might need help coming up with).
Anyone interested? Also, should I maybe cross-post in the Nanoha thread?
Fear the Gothilolions! | Anime listCount me as interested zzzdragon.
If I'm sure of something it's that I'm not sure of anything.I can see that lots of people read this topic. It really is refreshing to see how much use a convenient topic like this one gets.
Maybe I should just make a signup sheet or something. Or post an ad in the 'We are now Magical Girls' thread.

Fear the Gothilolions! | Anime listI made a sign up for Makai Wars: Nippon Ichi Software multiverse crossover. I haven't bumped it for a while, but I'm still open if anyone interested.
You can play as OC or story characters from NIS games. I accept both types (still prefering OCs).

DO NOT PURSUE LU BUzzzdragon: also interested.
And I'm thinking about starting a Tales Of The Abyss RP. Though not many people know it so I might just expand it into a Tales crossover RP though I'll need other people's help if I do that since I've only played Abyss.
Well if it's open for other Tales games I do know about Tales Of Vesperia and Tales Of Symphonia.
If I'm sure of something it's that I'm not sure of anything.I'm familiar with Dawn of the New World and Tales Of Innocence (somewhat).
If I have more time, I might consider an RP.
Lux-Pain LulzblogIs Tales Of The World counts?
P.S. daltar, can you place Dissidia a bit higher? We are trying to revive it after GM became missing and most of the cast quit. Thanks in advance.

DO NOT PURSUE LU BUNimitz has taken over my Roll To Dodge also.
I was also thinking of doing an RPG in the Just Cause 'verse, but as I proved by trying GMing Roll To Dodge: MI6, I can't GM...

Curse the ill fortune that led you to me.Dissidia is now higher, and the GM has been changed.
If I'm sure of something it's that I'm not sure of anything.Could you mayhaps add a link to an offsite RP?
http://s1.zetaboards.com/ShadowsideRPG/index
Basically, after the Evos Dawn three years ago, millions(mostly children) were given powers and the world was shooken up. Shadowside mostly follows the adventures of students of the world-famous twin schools for Evotellurics(those affected by the Dawn) and magi.
Uh... this is called the The TV Tropes Forum RPG Guide.
Maybe we should start a thread for discussion and recomendations of off-site RPs.
In other news, I'm planning on starting a new RPG. It would deal with the life of two prominent noble families as they compete against each other for wealth, power and prestige in just about every field they can, be it military, business, science, arts, piano lessons, swimming or anything else. The heads of the family would be sworn rivals, enemies most would say. The players then would be the rest of the very large family or their serving men and women.
This would bring the chance for fights between the families, intrigue, secret frendships and romances, silly contests and many things that I cannot imagine at this moment.
The setting would be in the Rennaisance, either of this world or of another one depending on the amount of magic that it's finally decided.
The problem is that this RP would need a lot of characters to really work... and since I was planning on working with modified Maid RPG style rules it might be ahrd to get enough people to join.
Any comments will be appreciated.

If I'm sure of something it's that I'm not sure of anything.Ahem,
In fair Verona, where we lay our scene,
From ancient grudge break to new mutiny,
Where civil blood makes civil hands unclean.
From forth the fatal loins of these two foes
A pair of star-cross'd lovers take their life;
Whole misadventured piteous overthrows
Do with their death bury their parents' strife.
The fearful passage of their death-mark'd love,
And the continuance of their parents' rage,
Which, but their children's end, nought could remove,
Is now the two hours' traffic of our stage;
The which if you with patient ears attend,
What here shall miss, our toil shall strive to mend.
A Romeo and Juliet subplot is required for this setting.

Fear the Gothilolions! | Anime listThat certainly is a must.
If I'm sure of something it's that I'm not sure of anything.
Figured I should drop in and mention: the Cattle punk RP is, until further notice, being run by me, (technically) not Rumetzen.
Awesome thread BTW.
P.S. If it could get bumped up a little too, that would be great.
