Umm... It appears I missed your 'What Mephistopheles is doing' post, but the Charybdis (in this, at least) is a sentient hole in reality.

I can't move threads. You need to be a mod to do that. And I have tried to track down a mod for that very purpose multiple times, but for some reason they seem rather quiet at the moment. Maybe I just can't find the right threads.

Also: Not GM. Unofficial or otherwise. But seeing as I'm the person who came up with the cavern, it did make sense for me to write out that area.

Tip: There's a way out via the workshop. Remember that vehicle exit? Its covered by residential housing now, but you should still come out near the factory. So if you can't get out through the exit, get out through the workshop.

200 rounds per minute is pretty slow. gattling guns go 3000-6000RPM's.

Thinking I'm going to drop this guy and roll up a new character when I get the chance... This didn't really work out too well.

Well, we could move along the plot a bit, perhaps. We've yet to achieve much apart from reaching the caverns.

I'd better map out the factory then so people know what they're charging into.

The factory then... making this up as I go.

The factory is split up into three floors. The first floor is essentially a ground vehicle production centre. Tanks, jeeps, and other more advanced vehicles are there. Its split into two main areas, each with six rooms. On the lower area is the factory floor itself, where robots assemble the machinery. The first room in the production line contains robots that build the actual frame, with the exception of the roof. The second room places hydraulics, suspensions, wheels or tracks... basically the bits that support the frame. Third goes into more detail, adding the engine, any weapons that are on the vehicle and windows if the vehicle isn't armoured. Fourth room fits out the interior, adding seats, the steering wheel, the bits the driver actually uses. Five adds any additional electronics involved in advanced vehicles and adds specialised armour plating in the heaviest of vehicles. (Assume things like brakes and other crucial parts were added to the frame.) Six finally equips the roof and any additional roof-mounted weapons and armour. Most of the rooms are lightly guarded as the factory was not expecting attack. (Emphasis to Strigon, this is supposed to be a surprise attack.) However, don't expect a pushover.

Above each room is the control centre where skilled engineers control the automated defences and the assembly bots themselves (Which will attack.) The engineers control both defences and bots, so taking them out will put the defences at a handicap. (They will be entirely automated and some won't be able to fight back at all.)

I'll put up floors 2 and 3 as you get there. The labs are accessible from floor 3. The floors will get more difficult as you fight your way up, and thats before you get into the labs. You can get to floor 2 via a staircase in the sixth room on the factory floor.

You should be emerging into Chainsaws home, into the kitchen. Its fairly large; Chainsaw had enough ovens, stoves and other things to cook gourmet meals for twenty at a time, or set up a kitchen for supplying a small army with hot meals if necessary. All such things are stripped out and replaced with spare parts now, as is the rest of the place. Leading out of that room and through the hall is the main dining room the team had their dream sequence in... and you know the way from there. The main dining room is now equally littered with scrap metal and may have a few guards in it. (Strigon will no doubt have a nasty surprise there.)

EDIT: Upon leaving the main hall and leaving through the front door, you emerge in room 1 of the factory floor. There's a staircase leading up to the control rooms nearby.

The only thing the party has to worry about in chainsaw's home are a few automated defenses and the occasional guard.

Whoa, progress? Thought the thread might've died off for a while there.

I was just about to crack out the defibrillators.

Maybe I made the traps too hardcore...

Bleh, this is what happens when I don't do anything in these for a while... No idea if I should keep going or just ditch this guy immediately.
