Well, considering random characters from all over the place have been popping up, Captain Falcon falling through a hole in the universe isn't all that surprising.
"One thing, though- apparently the eldest goat is the bastard child of Muhammad Ali and the Hulk." ~ Exelixi, on The Three Billy Goats Gruff. At the moment I'm slightly confused as to what exactly is going on. First the group emerge into the factory, then I say what the original plan was: for them to emerge somewhere below the factory in what used to be Chainsaws old store rooms, now suddenly they're in the open air and a full-scale air battle with a Dooomsday Device is breaking out? What happened to Flankers original subplot to sabotage the factory and my character plot to get the guardian orb from the lab and set up a base for the heroes either in the airship or in the cavern?

The term "Great Man" is disturbingly interchangeable with "mass murderer" in history books. The party is now on the residential area of Merlon area, The had to escape the old factory because of Org infestation.

Shameless Self-promotion ho!Wait, uh... whuh? Man, I was confused enough trying to figure out what my character was going to do.
Right, I think we should hear from the rest of the players before this goes any further. Things are coming out of the blue.
The term "Great Man" is disturbingly interchangeable with "mass murderer" in history books.Call me heartless, but I think that the destruction of the Meson Cannon now will save more lives than it could take down the road.
I am a proud member of the Western Federation's Anti-Japan Media Task Force. My work is very important.Oh sorry, Still near the factory, Which is on the Merlon area.
Also, the cannon is Tauros' insurance, If they lose a war, They can force the winners to concede. As it would be bad for business if they kept killing their customers.

Shameless Self-promotion ho!Now you see I was under the impression the group was still underground, and that Yarrun had simply emerged from the deeps. From the discription of the area I originally laid out. So the air attack for me came out of absolutely nowhere and completely threw out my original plan.
The idea was for the party to work their way up through the caverns and come up into the factory, before destroying it. Or, to come into the labs and steal the orb from them first. Those were supposed to be the first two missions.
Unfortunately, I expressed all of that with the talent of a two month old chimpanzee.
The term "Great Man" is disturbingly interchangeable with "mass murderer" in history books.I assumed the aerial battle took place outside the factory, so it didn't really affect the group inside.
Locking you up on radar since '09^^^ That's a World Domination plot. As such, I am morally obliged to shut you the hell down. I will not allow that cannon to remain functional, you hear me?!
I am a proud member of the Western Federation's Anti-Japan Media Task Force. My work is very important.Right, so there's an aerial battle going on outside the cannon, and the defenders won. Is that a decent summary?
@Rallyfan: Strigon is our established villain writer. He's supposed to be the bad guy.

The term "Great Man" is disturbingly interchangeable with "mass murderer" in history books.*sigh* Figures. With a name like "Strigon"...
Still, there is no way in hell that I'm going to concede here! That cannon will fall! I will not stop attacking it with everything I have, up to and including Commander Shepard and Primus! That cannon will be destroyed!
I am a proud member of the Western Federation's Anti-Japan Media Task Force. My work is very important.Hm... A suggestion: if we're going to have multiple plots going on, should there be some sort of divider if two or more of them are detailed in the same post? I could see it getting pretty confusing in some cases.

I'm not sure dropping a boatload of heroes in is going to do wonders for the plot. We're struggling enough with the current cast.
The term "Great Man" is disturbingly interchangeable with "mass murderer" in history books.I'll do it! I'll Zerg the living fuck out of him! I will! I'm fucking serious!
I am a proud member of the Western Federation's Anti-Japan Media Task Force. My work is very important.Umm... Rallyfan, if you kill the cannon, every character played by anyone else will be insta-killed in the blast. Regardless of the fact it's logical and would probably resolve the plot, it can't be allowed to happen. See the diagram:
Group Enjoyment —-> Common Sense —-> Plot
"One thing, though- apparently the eldest goat is the bastard child of Muhammad Ali and the Hulk." ~ Exelixi, on The Three Billy Goats Gruff.^^ Oh, fuck it all...
What, we can't come up with a new damn plot?
Besides, I'm a pragmatist, a common sense guy! So what if it doesn't make sense for the plot to be resolved with a single trigger pull! That's my style, god dammit, and I'm sure as hell not changing now!
I am a proud member of the Western Federation's Anti-Japan Media Task Force. My work is very important. That doesn't help us if the rest of the groups characters get blown to pieces in the middle of the first mission.

The term "Great Man" is disturbingly interchangeable with "mass murderer" in history books. It's not like you can't roll up new characters is it?
EDIT: Just give me this one victory and I shall leave the thread forever. That is all I ask of you.

I am a proud member of the Western Federation's Anti-Japan Media Task Force. My work is very important. What is the rest of the groups feelings? Would you guys be ok with re-rolling characters and having the city completely erased from the map?
EDIT: Of course, there's an easy way out of the conundrum. Don't have the cannons destruction be that bloody devastating. Maybe only a part of the city got destroyed. Maybe the cannon wasn't blown up, only knocked offline. Use your imagination here guys!

The term "Great Man" is disturbingly interchangeable with "mass murderer" in history books.I'm willing to compromise: cannon taken permanently offline, with or without massive detonation. I don't care whether it explodes, just that it can never be used again.
I am a proud member of the Western Federation's Anti-Japan Media Task Force. My work is very important.Lets just call the cannon put permanently offline, leave it like that, and get on with it...
The term "Great Man" is disturbingly interchangeable with "mass murderer" in history books.^^Much better. It could even pave the way for a minor assault by the military involved with Flanker in the finale!
Locking you up on radar since '09
Who knows. Who cares. I think he came through some kind of dimensional rip and proceeded to PAWNCH the first thing he saw.
