I noticed a while ago that Pacific joined the Code Geass theme, but I didn't really have the right place to say it. It would've been a rather abrupt interruption in the Avatars thread at the time.

Ivy: Good question. Whatever issue are on hand at the time, first of all. Cut government spending, reform prison laws, encourage tourism and agriculture, establish nuclear power plants, better control the growth of the forests, do something about the schools are some ideas I have had for the future though.

The growth of forests? They're out of control?

Forest fires are a problem here. I love the woods but I feel if their growth was more properly controlled before unintended fires started it would be less hassle for the people living in the areas, the fire departments, and everyone else affected.

I've heard that it would be better to let small fires burn occasionally to stop flammable material from accumulating. It's what the natives did.

It does help, but it is not being done enough here.

Does System of a Down's appeal lie in how half the time they have no melody and just rapid-fire nonsense? Is that making an artistic statement?

What is the deal with clothing brands advertising their name on your clothes in huge letters emblazoned across the chest, but you pay them to be their billboard? When did this become cool?

I will NOT wear any clothing that has a company name on it. I only wear shirts with words/logos if it's something I actually would like to be a walking billboard for. Some bands, for instance.

Clearly I have sold out. I used to hate brand names, now they no longer make a difference to me, unless I especially dislike their company practices.
