The Necrons they're just boring and don't have anything very appealing. Just get rid of the C'tan and put them to sleep for another trillion years.

Not all dreams are meant to come true, otherwise there would be a lot of dead people.

You know, I actually got thinking; the only races that make "sense" being wiped out are the Eldar, Dark Eldar, and Tau. Tau are small enough that a Hive Fleet could eat them, and the Eldar/Dark Eldar are in a very precarious position. All the other major factions, excluding Space Marine companies, are too powerful to be realistically wiped out.

Still rooting for the end of the Black Templars, though...

^ I think thats the best part about the nids. If GW ever decides they don't like some part of their universe, it's just OMNOMNOM-ing time.

What's so boring about the 'Crons? They're one of my favourite armies!

I think it's more the fact that they have a tiny unit selection and GW STILL won't give them a new dex. I got a 1k army recently (Joycrons FTW!) and I think they're great.

Search 'Steampunk Necrons' sometime. One of the most awesome conversions ever.

Isn't the title of this thread which RACE would you get rid off? A Space Marine chapter doesn't count as a race.

Me? I'd say Dark Eldar or Tau...possibly Necrons or Nids.

Definately keep the Eldar, Chaos, Orcs and Imps. The cores must stay forever.

Imps? Since when- oh wait a second.

I remember someone suggesting that the Inquisition could be all just combined into one big codex. Sounds like a good idea to me.

I think they're doing that.

I really hope I can have some clusterfuck of an army list with Grey Knights, Deathwatch and Sisters of Battle. Just so I can make up some fluff about how utterly dire things have to get for those to team up.

Heretics summoning Daemons to possess captured Eldar, perhaps?

Actually, that might happen sometimes. The universe is a vast and strange place.

Of course, they probably fight over who gets to investigate, first...

Actually, as evidenced by Amberley in Ciaphas Cain, it's not as if an Ordo Xenos Inquisitor goes "Eh, not my department!" when he or she sees daemonic or heretical presence. So you never know.

Tyranids.

I've never really been a fan of the "organic war machine" approach to characters.

Dark Eldar. I've never liked the "dark elves"-concept in any game, and it seems to me the least useful and interesting addition to make 40K more like Fantasy Battle.

^Same here, I've never met someone who collects Dark Eldar. I don't understand why pirates wouldn't just run away when they're facing a Space Marine base.

Yeah, they should attack undefended targets and flee when the army gets there.

'reminds me of that hilarious "Dark Eldar vs. SoB novices" battle I once heard of at a GW...

I'd understand them fighting IG's or Tau, or if they were attacked. But then again they could all just teleport away.

Considering the Dark Eldar are a borderline Joke Character race on the tabletop, that kinda makes sense.

I'd understand them fighting IG's or Tau,

Considering the Tau have such a low warp signature would it even be worth the effort to bother attacking them?
