Yeah, you seem really introverted having to tell us this...
Programming and surgery have a lot of things in common: Don't start removing colons until you know what you're doing.Well, he's got a point. I've found that staying quiet and keeping to myself has spared me a lot of bullshit.
Extroverts talk so much and yet say so little, you know?
no one will notice that I changed thisI would not fault extroverts for having a different personality than I do. I think that would be a bit silly since it assumes that being introverted is good or that introverts are better than extroverts.
Still, I like being quiet and keeping things to myself. I can understand what Cold Friction said about drama *. I quite dislike drama and prefer to stay detached and distant. I have a great respect for people who can choose their words wisely too. I feel like there is some power in that. Thus, I feel like an idiot when I do talk because I rarely meet those standards.

Attributing a lack of drama to being an introvert reeks of sour grapes to me.
My friend is pretty extroverted, and he seems to be pretty drama-free. He can get a little bit more worked up over things than I do, but then, I think most people do.
Ruining everything forever. On the Meyers-Briggs test, what type I am tends to depend. Sometimes, I get introvert, sometimes extrovert.
"All pain is a punishment, and every punishment is inflicted for love as much as for justice." — Joseph De Maistre.Being an introvert sucks. I hate being like this. Sure I internalize and think more but at the cost of having a harder time making friends or meeting people or starting relationships? Yeah, no dice.

Read my stories!@AC Drawings No offense, but the reason for your problem may have nothing to do with being an introvert.
There's no justice in the world and there never was~Still, I like being quiet and keeping things to myself. I can understand what Cold Friction said about drama *well, maybe not the teenage part though. I quite dislike drama and prefer to stay detached and distant. Ditto. Being reserved is quite bad for one's social life but I feel I am worse off talking. Awkward silences are also terrible.
A more extroverted person would have something to say.

Requiem ~ September 2010 - October 2011 [Banned 4 Life]Lacking confidence doesn't correlate with being an introvert though. It's just as possible for an extrovert to lack confidence in themselves.
Honestly your problem is you wait for people to interact with you. And nobody is going to want to interact with you unless you do something to interest them first.
like what? Do another one of my dancing routines? Make weird faces? Act like a pirate like I did for Peter Pan? Sing? People tend to flock when I use dry wit or something out of place.
When All Else Fails, you have fun and flirt wit da ladies, dats da Drawings way!I was a pirate in peter pan once. Got to be Smee.

When All Else Fails, you have fun and flirt wit da ladies, dats da Drawings way! That sounds cool. I wanted to do Smee or Captain Hook. I was just a pirate in the crew but I added character by carrying around an accordion everywhere and pretending to play it during musical bits.
When All Else Fails, you have fun and flirt wit da ladies, dats da Drawings way!I was in Peter Pan once too
I like being an introvert, because you can avoid a lot of unnecessary drama, emotional constipation, and other stuff that I probably wouldn't know how to deal with.
That said, being introverted is really fun.
Never be without a Hat! Hot means heat. I don't care if your usage dates to 1300, it's my word, not yours. My Pm box is open. You would probably know how to deal with it if you were an extrovert, though.
Would I still be me if I was an extrovert? Most likely not. My life has been too affected by the books that I read and other things.
Never be without a Hat! Hot means heat. I don't care if your usage dates to 1300, it's my word, not yours. My Pm box is open.Although I don't care about people being social as long as they don't bother me to much. But if they do I got to be brutally honest to shut them up.
HiAre you seriously implying that extroverts don't read?
I'm very, very much an introvert, but there seem to be a lot of stereotypes thrown around on both ends of things. From what I've heard, the introvert/extrovert distinction is mostly about whether being around people gives you energy or wears you out. It doesn't have to do with your personality or hobbies.
is hella fun. I don't have to go though most of the bullshit drama that most teenagers go through.
