I suppose. '[...] in X' doesn't work for me. 'In' does not mean 'with.'
Goal: Clear, Concise and WittyI would like a crowner.
Put me in motion, drink the potion, use the lotion, drain the ocean, cause commotion, fake devotion, entertain a notion, be Nova ScotianCrowner not getting much love.
Goal: Clear, Concise and WittyDidn't realize it had been made and hooked.
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.Looks like we don't have enough votes to tell yet but my option ain't doing so hot.
Is there anyway we can give this crowner some more exsposure? This thread dosen't get the most traffic.
Maybe we could put the crowner in TRS?
Put me in motion, drink the potion, use the lotion, drain the ocean, cause commotion, fake devotion, entertain a notion, be Nova ScotianMoving topics to another thread doesn't help us get to a resolution. Also, it smacks a little bit of redistricting in the hope of getting an electorate more inclined to agree with a particular viewpoint.

Goal: Clear, Concise and WittyYeah, I just wanna get my way...
Put me in motion, drink the potion, use the lotion, drain the ocean, cause commotion, fake devotion, entertain a notion, be Nova ScotianSo, were done with pattern picking, then. {{Artistic License - X}} is da winnah.
It's now time to get on with the gettin' on.
Goal: Clear, Concise and WittyI've put in the custom titles. The last step is to make sure we have at least a redirect in the form of Artistic License X for all the items.
Here are the items:
Goal: Clear, Concise and WittySo can we lose those banners now? And are we not renaming the stuff on Somewhere This Index Is Crying or the X Goofs? Also noticed there are a couple of cases where the You Fail page is a redirect with little or no usage. Can we cut those?
Regulated fun - the best kind! I don't make the rules, just enforce them with an iron fist."{{Artistic License - X}} is da winnah."
Awful decision, terrible titles. Should have left it alone.
Guys, the banners are still there and still say not to list these as tropes.
Regulated fun - the best kind! I don't make the rules, just enforce them with an iron fist.Shouldn't they still be trivia.

Put me in motion, drink the potion, use the lotion, drain the ocean, cause commotion, fake devotion, entertain a notion, be Nova ScotianWhen were they trivia? I thought they were YMMV, but the banners they have now are equivalent to Flame Bait - restricting examples to the pages themselves.
Regulated fun - the best kind! I don't make the rules, just enforce them with an iron fist.Wasn't the plan to leave them as regular tropes so we can gather proto-tropes from them?
Fight smart, not fair.Yes, that was the plan. They are tropes that will gather, collect, and breed other tropes as media evolves.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickHave I mentioned what a terrible, horrible idea this was? First, the new titles are just bad. Second, the old titles were funny. Third, this terrible rename changes the entire meaning. "Artistic License" implies a justifiable change for the sake of storytelling. "You Fail X" implies ignorance or laziness on the part of the writers.
Bad, bad idea.
4-14-2011: I see this discussion has been closed. So FYI, go here for some more feedback on how massively awful this rename is.
4-16-2011: I see that that discussion was deleted. Not sure why no one wants to talk about this anymore.

Crown Description:
We could run a crowner for how to punctuate it. Why not, right?
Rhymes with "Protracted."
