At first it was just me falling behind due to the huge glut of posts coming after the second week, preventing me from reliably catching up, but then real life issues arose where I do not believe I will be able to follow all that much.

I apologize for any long standing plot threads I will be inevitably leave hanging, but I do not believe I can reliably continue.

Hey errybady.

Exam period is upon me, so most likely, expect me to have disappeared for this week. I feel that I'm safe in terms of RP commitment, at the moment, but I'll get back to posting maybe next week, then will hopefully be back to a consistent posting rate the week after that.

They're separate. None really affect the other. Also it's Terminus, not Torment (though it'll become torment if they start playing elevator music).

The Tragedy Of McDeath

On the coast of East Albion, the detestable King McDeath, sits and broods on his usurped throne, ruling the stolen land with iron fist, oppressing the smallfolk and ravaging the country with his orc mercenaries, secure in his prophesied invincibility. But all is not lost, the line of Dunco is not extinct, and their armies have gathered to depose the tyrant and restore the rightful heir upon the throne. As the curtain lifts, the three armies of the Alliance have assembled to hire a final few mercenaries before the attack.

Scenarios:

Winwood Harbor: Julia McEwan leads her clan on an amphibious assault on Winwood Harbor, taking advantage of the fact that the bulk of McDeath's vassal clans McArno and Greevant are at their annual Games, where caber-tossing, shot-putting, drinking and violence settle matters of honor. Tensions between both clans are running high after accusations of shaved cabers and supportive garments worn underkilt were made by either side, and by long-standing mutual agreement have locked each other's weapons in a storehouse in the village. Julia's own clansmen are eager to avenge a recent humiliation inflicted by clan Greevant, who led a daring raid to daub "Wimpish McEwans put sugar on their porridge" in six-foot-tall letters on the walls of Castle McEwan.

Loch Dorm: Donalbane leads the Clan McCoughlagan (pronounced MacHooligan) to Castle Runsinane, but they detect the scent of spirits on the wind and head straight for it. The brewery workers, who cannot afford to lose a shipment of whisky for King McDeath, will fight to defend their livelihood while taking great care not to make too much noise so as not to wake the nearby Loch Dorm Monster.

Dungal Hill: The Heroes of East Albion are to rendezvous with Donalbane at Dungal Hill. McDeath's lieutenant Een McWrecker and his orc bodyguards are starving out the dwarves living here, who refuse to mine more silver only to see it taken by McDeath. The dwarves have been on strike for more than a year, as any orc raids sent into the mines were never seen again. After a message warning of an army of McDeath's enemies reached the miners, they have taken down most of the barricades and are standing ready to strike.

Runsinane Castle: The surviving forces of the Alliance gather before the castle to kill McDeath and pursue their own agendas. Alliance agents have assured that they can throw the gates open. Here McDeath will make his stand to retain his throne, or at least make his enemies' victory as costly as possible.

Alliance Forces:

Forces at Winwood Harbor:

Julia McEwman: Laird of Clan McEwman and unbeknownst to her clansmen or allies, is the illegitimate daughter of the murdered king Dunco. Selfish, headstrong, ambitious and ruthless. Leads her fanatically loyal clan to Albion to reclaim her birthright, hidden away in McDeath's treasury. No life is too sacred for her to spare if she must become Queen of East Albion. 3rd in line for the throne of East Albion.

• Objective: McDeath, Donalbane and Charles must die, find the letters proving her legitimacy.
• Gear: Mace, chainmail, shield.

Juggo Joricksson: Julia's bodyguard. A drunken berserker.

• Gear: Two-handed battle-axe.

Fergus McEwan: Sergeant-at-arms of Clan McEwan. At six-and-a-half feet tall, terrifies smaller opponents.

• Gear: Sword, shield.

Forces at Loch Dorm:

Donalbane: Son and heir of the murdered King Dunco, who leads Clan McCoughlagan to deliver Albion of McDeath and restore its rightful king. 1st in line for the throne of East Albion.

• Objective: Rescue his brother and take back the throne that is his birthright.
• Gear: Full plate armor, two-handed sword.

Mergrey Calchoner: Dunco's Court Mage.

• Gear: Robes, dagger.
• Spells:
  • Aura of Resistance (magical armor on self, dispelled by magic weapons).
  • Fireball (up to three targets, fireballs always hit, dodging only gives half damage).
  • Mystic Mist (creates a fog no one can see through, be they inside or outside).
  • Smash (deals strong damage to inanimate objects, mostly doors and walls).
  • Animate Sword (animates a sword so it can move and attack independently, but must be in sight/visual range at all times, can't go behind a wall).

Dokko McCoughlagan: Laird of Clan McCoughlagan. Pledged his clan of booze-fuelled brawlers to Donalbane's cause.

• Gear: Shield, sword.

Forces at Dungal Hill:

(Sir John Quicksure:) A heroic knight errant who at once took up the call to aid Donalbane, and obtained the assistance of the Earl of Hark Ness. Will not strike a woman or the bespectacled. Objectives: Restore the rightful heir to the throne, right wrongs, slay monsters, rescuing maidens, general heroics and chivalry.

• Gear: Warhorse, full plate armor, lance, sword, shield.

Sandra: Sir John's squire.

• Gear: Shield, spear and sword. Her horse died before the campaign started.

(Dart:) The Earl of Hark Ness, who agreed to Sir Quicksure's request of aid in removing the evil McDeath and pledged himself and his household knights. Due to a difficult pregnancy, was delivered by C-section. Objectives: Restore the rightful heir to the throne.

• Gear: Warhorse, full plate armor, flaming sword that can cause fear in enemies.

Arka Zargul: The leader of the dwarf miners of Dungal Hill. While willing to get revenge on McWrecker and McDeath, is uninterested in replacing one despot with another. Objectives: Kill McWrecker and recover the stolen silver, recover the treasure stolen by McDeath's forces, rid the country of all claimants to the throne and other capitalist exploiters to found a People's Republic of Albion.

• Gear: Magical warhammer (Wound, Leadership and Will Power Gain (has increased toughness, inspiration and courage while holding the weapon), Mighty Strike (strikes a devastating blow once per day)), chainmail.

(Raybees:) Een McWrecker's enslaved halfling manservant, who dreams of nothing more than murdering his cruel master. He must remain close to Een at all times. (technically he's part of the bad guys, but given his motives...)

• Gear: Dagger.

Forces at Castle Runsinane:

Klinty: Leader of the Treemen of Albion, willing to aid the Alliance in deposing McDeath, whose orcs ravage Albion's forests with fire and axes. Objectives: Get rid of McDeath and his orcs.

• Gear: None needed, can throw boulders.

Charles: Donalbane's younger brother, held hostage by McDeath in the castle dungeons. Is in a state of great weakness due to underfeeding and prison brutality. 2nd in line for the throne of East Albion.

• Objective: Get out of the castle alive and support his brother's claim to the throne.
• Gear: Rags.

Good news everybody! My PC's dead, apparently out of sheer spite!

I'm trying to get it fixed, but for right now I have no Discord (working on that) and limited PC access.

I'm considering making an app for Exemplar. It interests me the most out of the current S3 campaigns, and seeing as it's a little stagnant maybe I could help rekindle interest. I just have a little cold feet, seeing as it's my first time here.
