On a similar vein to Beauty Equals Goodness, I also DESPISE tropes where being human/human-like means being not just morally better, but more sympathetic, more strong, and overall superior because HUmAnS aRE sPeCiaL! It reeks of anthropocentricism. That is also why I despise Reptiles Are Abhorrent and Mammal Monsters Are More Heroic because it implies, if not, states that non-humans must be inherently wrong/weak/evil because they're not like us.
