Brawl in the Family

I'm genuinely sobbing right now.

What really gets me is that the song ends with an exerpt of the Brawl theme and Green Greens. I just can't...

And so it ends. Loved every bit of it. Farewell Brawl in the Family. I had some great times because of you.

But we still have the podcasts and Nintendo Force comics right?

I have mixed emotions, on one hand I want Bit F to be continued by Matt again but at the same time I don't think that's good for Matt and the comic.

I'm gonna miss BITF, but hopefully Matt can do more things now that it's over.

We need a petition to get Nintendo to put a reference to this comic in the new SSB game.

Probably too late, unless there's DLC coming.

BITF Waluigi for DLC character

I'll admit, while I certainly really like Bit F, I could never consider myself a true fan, having only ever read a handful of the comics (and even then mostly the Waluigi ones). And yet here I am crying my damn eyes. out. It takes real talent to end on a bang, and that bang could count as a freaking planet-buster. The ending especially is one of the most beautiful things I've ever heard.

Whatever Matt does in the future, I wish him all the best.

I can't say I followed this series religiously like all of you, but I did read an issue here and there through my time on the net. It was a fun little comic I'll admit, never really tried to take the piss out of Nintendo too much, just was having fun with it.

But all things have to come to and end.

I'm gonna miss you, Kirby.

I salute you Matthew. You gave us joy, good songs, and went out on a high note.

The last song being a Reprise Medly makes since. I love all the continuity nods.

The Kickstarter is now in its final hours, if I understood him correctly this is probably your last chance ever to get physical versions so if you're interested you better jump on it ASAP.

Only 9 hours left of the Kickstarter.

I just backed it $180, which netted me the entire hardcover trilogy with the slipcase and everything signed by Matthew.

I don't regret anything.

I put money down for just the paperback trilogy.

Well I'll miss this comic. It was a good ride while it lasted.

Waking up today made me realize that Brawl In The Family is pretty much the only webcomic I follow that updates on Tuesdays.

Ouch.

I was checking some of the past comics, and... Matt joked in the description for #412 that it would have made a fitting final comic. Well, that did pretty much turn out to be how it ended, didn't it?

And it even ended with Adeline being left out of the brawl, on her own volition.

I think the only bitter part of the bittersweet ending was that, y'know, the comic ended. The ending itself was rather sweet and satisfying.

So has anyone gotten their M P3s from the Kickstarter yet?

Because I haven't.

Not yet. He still seems to be working on Tadpole Treble right now, so I think you can at least forgive him for that.
