Oh my, it looks like everyone's been taken to Tykogi Tower Waluigi has taken over again.
I can't stand the Waluigi strips. It's like the artist/writer/whatever decided "Fuck it; I can't be bothered being funny this time, so I'll just be annoying."
It's not even the good kind of annoying.
I like it. The way he draws Waluigi alone is already hilarious! Those new strips aren't all that great, but since there's so many of them, the sheer number makes it absurd enough for a grin.
Yeah, I think they're meant to be a sort of drawing exercise.
Do you highlight everything looking for secret messages?Personally, I just want to bust out my Sniper Rifle of Retcon and Boom, Headshot! Waluigi out of existence.
I am a proud member of the Western Federation's Anti-Japan Media Task Force. My work is very important.I personally find his Waluigi hilarious simply for the ridiculous amount of teeth he has.
The Waluigi comics are shitty. I think that's intentional.
The Waluigi event is funny, though, in a meta-way.
I also thought that the joke in Waluigi strips is that they're not funny, which sort of makes them funny. (Not to mention disturbing. The ones where he spies on Luigi are... interesting.)
I saw that intention too, but to me they hit So Bad Its Horrible.
The comics themselves are supposed to be So Bad Its Horrible.
But the joke is the meta-joke of Waluigi taking over the place and producing really shitty comics.
And I don't find that funny either.
Well, to each their own. :)
I still stand by what I said before, Waluigi needs to be removed at once, Burninated, and never spoken of again.

I am a proud member of the Western Federation's Anti-Japan Media Task Force. My work is very important. My only qualm is that they don't really justify why Waluigi randomly appears.
... What sort of a justification would you expect?
I think you just answered your own question, Glenn. It's random.
Apparently Waluigi is firmly in Your Mileage May Vary territory, as I showed the comics to two of my friends, one of whom thought they were terrible, nonsensical abominations of anti-humor, and the other of whom thought they were the funniest thing he had seen in weeks.
There's an aspect of the Waluigi comics that I've always found noteworthy, and it almost redeems them in the end. They simply have the most respectful portrayal of Daisy that I've ever seen in the fandom.
The best example is a somewhat subtle one from the last comic of the set. In what is probably meant to be a Tear Jerker moment, she calls Waluigi, says she can't make the party, and hopes he's having a good time.
That's not the part I noticed. Read the first line of her message. "Hello, Wally. It's me, Daisy."
She could have very easily said "Hi, I'm Daisy!" It fits the context and it's pretty much the main thing everyone remembers about her. But she didn't.
What really annoys Mario is that he's being treated by a vet.
Productivity is for people without internet connections. -Count DorkuHeh, that's one Funny Background Event.
Given that nearly everyone in the Mushroom Kingdom is either a living mushroom or an animal of some kind, I guess having human doctors would be rare.
It would be a lot easier for me if you imagine there's something funny or interesting here.Mr. Game & Watch = awesome.
... This is literally awesome.
I am in literally in awe.
I listened to this twice and read through it all again and had a good look at every panel and my mouth was hanging open until I wrote this message.
Wow.
I thought Mr. Sun had a crowning moment of WTF, actually.
