Cool. Maybe I wasn't clear in the initial summary, my bad. Humans and Fey had no contact with each other until 30 years ago when they fled their world. They still lived like the mythologies and folklore we know of while we lived mostly like we do now. And like I mentioned earlier, the Fey world's equivelent of Japan seems have connected to New York.

Hey, is it alright for Jerrett to go straight to the governor for assistance? Or does anyone want him to join up with your characters?
What it all means.
First, Martial Law is declared throughout the state. You don't get a couple First Amendment rights.
Second, the National Guard troops deployed will remain, additional manpower from the federal level has been requested and approved. Soldiers on every corner.
Third, suspicious persons will be detained, and if found to be connected to violent groups, will be prosecuted. Any funny looking Fey will be arrested.
And fourth, a curfew will be placed on the city and other designated areas. People are to be indoors by 8 PM or face arrest. Your night life just went down the drain.
^ Yeah, go to the governor. And maybe you can run into the two Peace Organization ladies.
