I'll probably post something soon. Putting you in a cell was in-character, but not really the best option.

I don't mind; I would've done something similar if I were in Blake's shoes.

I have an idea for the Troper Works page: We could always do a redirect, couldn't we? Can someone try that, since I have to get to school soon?

And so it ends. My last post was massive, but I think I got everyone's last requests in.

Except... Two questions. Both related to my characters, actually, but I felt the need to ask them. First: What happened to Scott after he was wheeled onto the deck in a cage? He's never mentioned again. Even though he had gotten close enough to River and Cyrus for them(or at least, River) to personally ask for him to be his new dormmate. I'd doubt he'd just leave quietly, either...

And two, where's Blair? I mean, seriously, you never mention her. And she seemed, at least to me, to have been a major person in the RP...

But I still don't like that the RP died. T-T

Just assume Scott was let out of his cage and left with the others, or something.

And Blair and Angie were the ones taking care of Cyrus. I thought I mentioned her, but it must have slipped my mind. Writing that post all at once does that to you.

And yeah, the end sucks.

Ah. I feel bad for negelecting this for so long. Excellently written ending, though!

Now that everything is over and all, I might as well reveal my plans.

So, Blake was pursuing the Mind-Link tech in order to save Anna's life, right? Yes and no. He wanted to save Anna, but if he had learned that the Curse was what was causing Anna's illness in the first place (as I planned), he would have simply defected to the Cult, set up a duel and win against Anna and won, and then absorbed her Curse before transferring their combined Curse onto some poor sap who was going to die anyway. And then, of course, he would have double-crossed the Cult to help the protagonists, because he had no use for them anymore.

So, what was Blake gathering all this tech for? Well you see, his ambitions were a bit higher than simply running all his competitors in the underworld out of business. If we use our imaginations a bit, it's not hard to realize that SWORD and SHIELD tech, along with other Solid Vision tech will probably eventually become so sophisticated that they could be utilized for Hard Light, force fields, and, since they've been stated to affect air flow, control over air. Not to mention anything else that might be thought up to make Duel Monsters more realistic. What do you get when you combine this with Mindlink technology?

Why, a Physical God, of course! The original plan called for Blake to upload his brain at some point before the Final Battle, then 'die' in a stunning Heroic Sacrifice (because it's easier to scheme as an evil mastermind if people presume you dead). After he died, I intended for a somewhat aged Anna to become one of the protagonists of the second 'season' (after a time skip), having been left Blake's position. Meanwhile, Blake would quietly move to solidify his power, hiding behind front companies to disseminate technology to the masses with a specifically-built backdoor for his digital consciousness to come and go as it pleased. Oh, also there were clones. That was what the "Institute for the Advancement of Humanity" or whatever the hell I called it was for.

Why is Blake doing this, you ask? To Take Over the World (OF COURSE!)!

After he revealed himself, I planned on having Anna lead the fight against his efforts, because, you know, drama and all that.

And, if I'm reading the final post correctly, and Blake didn't die, then he would likely have succeeded in his plans later anyway! Woohoo!

Also, I might as well blow this out. Buddy/Crash was Andrew. Andrew's real name was in fact Patrick Havard, a master hacker but one who was anti-social to even his fellow hackers. I know most of you figured it out, because it was kinda obvious. This means that Buddy = Pala and Crash = Din. Reasoning: (Buddy = Pal) + (Alo = A.) = Pala and Crash = Loud Noise = Din. So yeah.

Who were the GF cameos then? They were the other voices that were in his head at that point. Patrick's mind was trying to come up with a logical illusion and that was simply the form it took.

I assume neither Blake nor Patrick died in the explosion then?

Might take me a day or two to build a proper deck. Need to make it Psychic-themed.

You can just post the char and put 'deck pending' for the deck section, like Kuip.

Edit: I was going to say something here about bringing Barnaby in for a cameo at some point, but I see you've already given him a comfortable little spot as an NPC. Anyway, I'll have to pass on joining this one. I have neither the time nor the emotional fortitude to invest in another RP.
