How to create your own troper page
Note: if you started with a handle beginning with a number or containing an non-alphanumeric, you need to make a handle beginning with a letter and only containing alphanumerics.
- Click on your name in a forum post of yours or click your profile picture on the upper right corner of the screen and select "Troper Page" from the drop down menu.
- On the page that appears, click on the edit button.
- Edit the page. If you want markup help, click on the "Show Markup Help" button.
- Save your changes.
- You're done. Congratulations! Give yourself a cookie.
I would also like to know how can I add tropes to my page.
Thanks a lot in advance!

There it is. Found it thanks for the tip guys.
I'm Really Really Stuggling to But my page in can some one Help me
I'm having a problem, I don't really know where to start as I get redirected to the home page when I go here [1]
I think the space in your handle is the problem. You can be Downpour Guy, downpourguy or downpourGuy but I don't think you can be downpour guy.
Click on any of the blue links and edit the page to make a contributors page.

In actuality, the offending character is the underscore. Any punctuation in handles will break the wiki parser.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"I didn't even see the under score. That would do it too.
Thanks guys, I've changed my handle to downpourguy now.

Between the seasons we find roomI read the article, and I'm doing my own contributors page using the method described above. That's all. Thanks for the info!
I made an error with my link to my page, and now there's no edit button on the Contributors page...does anybody know how I can fix this? Thanks.
There is an edit button. Little blue one, says "edit page". Above where it says "Main", below the ad.
Welcome To TV Tropes | How To Write An Example | Text-Formatting Rules | List Of Shows That Need Summary | TV Tropes Forum | Know The StaffThe Contributors page shouldn't be editable—it's an automatic index.
Incidentally, your new page in the proper namespace is now flagged as a trope page, your old one is on the cut list, and the two links to the old one have been moved to the new one.
I'm bad, and that's good. I will never be good, and that's not bad. There's no one I'd rather be than me.I blanked the main, do we need to cutlist the main namespace?
Fight smart, not fair. Thanks a lot, you guys! I came here only asking for advice, and you did more–you fixed the problems. That's why I love this wiki–everyone is always willing to help.
Just a quick question, is there any way I can check my Contribution List without giving myself a Troper Page? I don't want people to have easy access to my edits or my IP.
Alpha Parum est esse aliquid.I'm a tad confused.
How exactly do I create a page for myself when I have punctuation in my name under the new system?
downpour guy had a similar issue a few posts up. He changed his name to downpourguy to rectify the issue. In other words, you probably can't.

That's correct — if you have punctuation in your handle, you can't create a troper page directly. Limitation of the wiki software.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Hi,Everyone! I'm a longtime reader and occasional poster and just decided to create myself a troper page, but I'm a little confused as to how to begin. Any help would be appreciated.
Hello! Start by clicking here and adding in whatever you want to say about yourself, your contributions, and so on.
Productivity is for people without internet connections. -Count Dorkuso.... I'm a longtime lurker but a virgin editor and I don't understand how to make a contributor page... any help would be much appreciated.
I like my coffee black just like my metal.I'd explain, but it looks like you figured it out.

You are for me. Clear your browser's cache and look again; your computer may be serving up a page it got earlier.
