Has anyone actually pointed out any misuse with the current name?

I'd support Nazi Occultism as a more literal redirect at the very least (which it already is), but is there clearly any problem with the current name other than some people not thinking it's a decent pun?

Keep. It's clever. Also, the Gestapo was under the command of Himmler, the only high-ranking Nazi fascinated with ghosts and occultism in Real Life. Unless someone thinks up a pun on the supernatural and the word "Himmler" or "Schutzstaffel", keep.

I don't think it's clever or a particularly great name, but it does get the point across and nobody's presented any evidence that there's confusion. I like Geistapo as a redirect.

I have no problems with the current name.

Vree made some good points, but I don't think the factual accuracy is really bothering anyone.

The name seems great to me, the very moment I saw it I got the point across plus it just seemed pretty funny and clever to me. Just seems more to me making a bigger deal about the name then needs to be.

It's fine; not the greatest pun maybe, but it describes what you get sufficiently well — 'supernatural Nazis'.

And frankly, while it's a serviceable name Nazi Occultism is possibly the dullest name ever for a trope like this. This is a pulp trope, it needs something vaguely clever and lurid!

Yep.

@Clarste - Most people envision "Nazis" when someone accuses someone of being the Gestapo.

Also, bland names for the lose.

Ghost nazis also doesn't strike up the image of Nazi Occultism either, but I've already given up on this topic. Pay attention to the dates, that was months ago. It's clear that other people like the name, so its gonna stick.

It's funny how some threads more than others have a tendency to get necroed by people saying what amounts to "keep." Depending on how loosely you define 'funny' I guess.

Would a moderator do us the honor of locking this, please?

Since it appears that it's being resurrected simply for people to agree what had already been the decision, sure. Locking.
