If you can set shit up I'll see what I can do. Let's just say making designs and merchandise is in my blood.
I'm not going to lift a finger until I see some proper organizatin' going.
I'm not taking off my pants for a forum meme. -NornagestI have ideas and things. I might help.
"Well, it seemed like a good idea at the time..."Was already planning on doing shirts and pixel art of random stuff. Wouldn't mind doing Tv Trope stuff.
Bumpity bump.
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.I know this project is likely to have a tight budget, but is there any chance that the contributor of a particular design could receive a small portion of the profit when their design sells (somewhere around 5-10%, perhaps?)
I... er, I might have a go on making some thumbnails, see what ideas I can stir up.
A question; what sort of format would you want final images in? I can work on raster images but I think that a T-shirt person would want a vector image that can be resized easily.
Use your best judgement I would say. Whatever way works best for what we're making.
And it would be greatly benificial if we could get some designs in sooner rather than later.
Cool beans. If this does go anywhere and I do end up making final images, I'll make them big.
Okay, I'm a bit busy tonight, but here's one design:
Just a concept. I made it strictly one-colour to make it easier to put on a shirt (bit big to put on a mug, I think). This sort of thing: Down or Up with?
I might be able to do some more in the next couple of days.
My other thoughts with regards to this idea:
- having actual things climbing out of the spill
- having the spill form the shape of a scary thing
- having the words "NIGHTMARE FUEL" be formed in the spill

I'm sketching a few ideas up - I'll post when I've gotten them scanned.
NB, though, I'm only decent with ink and rotten at digital art.
I think the tentacular bit is more effective - it looks more like part of the actual fuel (I could mistake the eyes for a cluster of bubbles, for instance). Maybe if you could maximize the creepiness using only pareidolia...?

Erm. Clodcuckooland?
Yes, yes -.-
The main discussion for planning and such.
It'd really be cool to get any of you guys to help. We're looking for artists who can do t-shirts, hats,
handsoap bottlesmaybe mugs, etc. Images of the tropes, Trope Tan, or anyone who can get creative with the logo and our signature lampshade will be helpful.Anyone up for it?
