Which is another tell instead of a show. He doesn't even say it's heavy, just that it is hard to sweep.
I'm leaning more towards the Lilo and Stitch example. Stitch is dog sized, he shouldn't be capable of breaking the scale. So to 10.

If he is able to sweep it, then he's not Pathetically Weak since we can see the cleaning brush he presumably held beforehand, and that should weigh more than normal dust.
It's a red paint argument if I've ever seem one.

Agreed. I think it's a stretch to say it's because he's pathetically weak, the text and visuals point to the "dust" being immensely dense and heavy.
Yeah, I'm with the dustpan one.
I think there's also the Kuleshov Effect to consider, Heavier than It Looks has a very straight forward trope name so people are going to look at the image and the trope name together and figure out it's showing the dust being heavy. So I think the idea that someone is going to mistake it as Gyro being Pathetically Weak seems pretty spurious to me.
By the same token: how can he sweep it if it is that heavy? The brush shouldn't be able to move it because of its inertia. I know the answer is "Because comic logic", but that hardly forms a good base for a logical discussion.
Good point. I was looking at the image in a vacuum, not as someone who has already read the trope title (a necessity if you have navigated to the page). Also, thanks for the trope - I had never heard of that effect before.

What's heavier? A kilogram of that dust or a kilo of iron?

"His vacuum cleaner bot took one look at that super-dense dust and scurried off." Or would 'Roomba' be too out of place considering the comic?
"Two tons of steel compressed into a tiny pile of dust will do that."

Nah. He himself says the dust is heavy.
