People are having fun, which makes sense cause when a game is new no one know what to do and it's chaotic. Once it's figured out, you'll the complaints will start showing up.

Fun fact i just noticed: The VA for Peni i'm pretty sure is Sally Amaki. Which is funny to think Kiriko ends up playing the D.Va equivalent in marvel rivals.

with the new found fan respect that x-men 97 gave him, it would be great if they included Cyclops, his power is already perfectly fitting for a hero shoter game.

I can imagine more X-Men reps will be higher in the running with how well received 97 turned out to be, Cyclops especially.

Would love to see Gambit in this.

I dunno, my weird wants are having all the characters that have been featured in the Marvel vs Capcom series. We already have a lot so it's a matter of just waiting

After seeing the leaks I'm already quite satisfied so I'm limiting my wants to Cyclops, Deadpool and Dr Doom as must-have additions.

I'd personally have Venom as more a tank brawler and carnage as more a manic speedster agile type

Seagull: Extremely disappointed in Marvel Rivals. Multiple creators asked for key codes to gain access to the playtest and are asked to sign a contract. The contract signs away your right to negatively review the game. Many streamers have signed without reading just to play.

This is illegal in the US by the way. As your not allowed to give a positive review to something that you didn't actually like in a contract like manner.

LMAO did they actually try and do that? That's... Not a thing you can do. Otherwise there'd be no bad reviews for anything ever.

That's... bizarre considering by all accounts the response to the alpha was glowing anyways. Now they have to deal with the PR from this looming over any now-tempered excitement they cultivated, eh.

I can appreciate the voicelines and interactions, but they really need to chill with the voiceline spam

x 5 One of the clauses forbidding comparisons to other games is hilarious since we all can think of one specific game it's most likely for.

Many would say "better than Overwatch" is being Damned by Faint Praise at this point, though.

I kinda worry about the strategist role cause it's kinda hard of thinking of a character that heals.

How many marvel characters can heal? And not just self-heal, heal others.

Off the top of my head, Elixir and White Swird from the X-Men franchise.

Both have uber powerful healing abilities including full resurrection.

Though both are lesser known mutants, the latter is only a couple years old so definitely very low on the player wait list.

I don't think we have to worry about them struggling to make supports yet. They made Loki and Rocket healers even though they easily could've been dps and no one would've batted an eye.

The real issue will be if they overfocusing on releasing dps.

The datamined list is mostly damage focused, although there are some weird ass kits there. Ultron is a healer and apparently so is Jeff. I also believe Sue might be Strategist too as i think you can make her a Zarya style healer with her shields

The team has put out a statement regarding the Content Creator terms.

TL;DR: They're sorry about the whole thing, and they'll work with their Creators to make the rules less restrictive.

I assume that healers could be most of scientists and wizards, psychics could be too, maybe even leaders like Captain America or Cyclops. So I could imagine Beast, Baron Mordo, Captain America, Clea, Cyclops, Enchantress, Professor X, Emma Frost, Hood, Squirrel Girl (with nuts!), High Evolutionary, Iron Fist, Kang, Leader, Mr Fantastic, Mr Sinister, Moon Girl, Modok, Nico Minoru, Anti-Venom, Mr Negative, Silver Surfer, Phoenix, and Valkyrie.

What you guys opinion on the Spiderman default suit?

I quite like it.

A lot of the costumes are "Busy" in a way that I'd sometimes make fun of, but I feel it gives the game a specific and unique style... And would likely make the more simple classic costumes stick out more.

For the most part I like it but IMO those red strips by his waist really need to wrap around his back into a "belt". Without that "break" his back looks too naked with the blue running continuously down.
