- “Circle” by Harry Chapin (a song about Reincarnation Romance)… I think a version by Bon Jovi would be pretty cool. (Or a version by Neil Diamond; there’s A LOT of songs I would like Neil to cover, actually… that man could make “The Wheels On The Bus Go Round And Round” sound fantastic.) A Reggae version of “Circle” wouldn’t be bad, either.
For me it's ANY FATRAT SONG OR ANY NCS SONG IN A NON ELECTRONIC GENRE
Call out a personThis is a gimmick that could work with any artist who had a New Sound Album that stuck I guess, but I was specifically thinking of Ministry - their early singles and first album were Synth-Pop note , but by their third they were an Industrial Metal band - so, a distinct double tribute album that's half synth pop covers of their industrial metal songs, half industrial metal covers of their synth pop songs.
That's a brilliant idea.
I've had a pipe dream to have Slipknot cover "My Sharona" for ages. There's something about the staccato pace of the song and the idea of Corey Taylor bellowing out the lyrics that feels oddly right to me.

I'd have loved to have seen David Bowie cover some City Pop songs before his death.
Mankind is unloveable. No more kindness!
