The items in the Our Tropes Are Different index are intended for explaining the unique portrayals of stock characters or things; for example, Our Mermaids Are Different focuses on mermaids. However, at this Trope Repair Shop thread, it was discovered that many of the entries in Our Mermaids Are Different have problems, including:

- Examples which simply state that mermaids exist without explaining their unique elements (which is People Sit on Chairs)
- Characters who resemble mermaids, but aren't
Due to the snowclone nature of the titles, this is likely common throughout the Our Tropes Are Different index. As it was deemed that no TRS action was necessary, a cleanup thread will be dedicated to fix the ZCEs and dubious entries. So, here it is. I'm back!
