It's not clear to me from Steel Ear Drums's description if the trope is omnipresent enough to ignore straight examples and only list other kind of playing with it. The on-page examples are mostly aversions.
I bring this up because a troper removed an averted example from Characters.The Last Of Us 2023 citing the Averted Trope guidelines which I am not sure would apply in this case.
