Event, ride, whatever it is, you didn't add the context for me to know and I'm no park enthusiast enough to know these things on my own.
My point is, Snow White is very well known. She's the first Disney Princess, her movie is being remade, there's plenty of alternative Snow White stories, and she's always in the Disney Princess line-up. I don't care if the line stays or goes but saying that nobody knows who she is is completely false.
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessWell, I wasn't implying that, apologies, but I think she's not as well-known as many Disney Princesses but I do think the line can stay.
Hi!Hi, I'm here from the trope report. I was wondering about Hatsune Miku, where her introduction is listed as follows:
Whatever you want to call her, if you're familiar with the Japanese music scene or especially the vocal synthesizer scene of the early 21st century, then chances are you've heard of her.
While I don't discount Miku's popularity, I think the opening falls under the same issues brought up here, plus she isn't the first virtual celebrity I can think of (for me, that would be Kizuna Ai, and there's also Gorillaz which is similar to Miku and predates her by around a decade). So I think a rewrite to something more like this? Maybe?
Hatsune Miku is one of the most popular Virtual Celebrities in the world. If you're familiar with the Japanese music scene or especially the vocal synthesizer scene of the early 21st century, then chances are you've heard of her.
I'm not 100% satisfied with the intro, but we could move her name meaningand goroawse number to a little later on (although both are covered by tropes on her page already). Anyway I'd like some advice on the rewrite, or even if this needs one.

Feelings are complicatedThe rewrite looks better to me. Gets the point across without being overly wordy.
Hi!There could be more neutral description given that Hatsune Miku hasn't been out more for 20 years. How about this:
Hatsune Miku is a Virtual Celebrity created by Japanese company Crypton Future Media. Originally a speech synthesis software released in 2007, she's Crypton's most famous work, becoming an icon in the Japanese vocal synthesizer scene of the early 21st century.
That works too.
Hi!ComicBook.Daredevil has: The Disability Superpower Hero.
Keep or remove?
I'm not familiar with Marvel Comics so I have to go by what's written on the page, and it's not convincing. Its own page say "he was generally considered to be at best a C-list character until Frank Miller took over the title in 1981" and talks about "the character's relative lack of popularity", which casts doubt on its claim about being Trope Codifier of Disability Superpower (which, in my opinion, is already a common trope outside of Daredevil).
If this can be specified that he is currently the most demonstration of the trope within Marvel, I think that can be incorporated into the description. Otherwise, I don't find a reason to keep it.
Yeah, I'd say delete. Also, I found this on Lobo's page:He who devours your entrails and thoroughly enjoys it. Scourge of the Cosmos. Mister Machete. The Main Man.
THE '90s Anti-Hero ...In Space
Mostly because the page makes it clear multiple times he's supposed to be a parody of a comic-book badass.
Hi!ComicBook.Venom also has 90sAntiHero as a sinkhole.
There's Venom, Lobo and Wolverine for that. I'd say delete for all three. Also, Venom's entry has this for his write-up: The Symbiote. The Black Suit. The Lethal Protector. Spawn of Knull. Spider-Man's Clingy Alien Ex and Best Frenemy.
While Wolverine has this: Weapon X. The Berserker. The Man with the Claws. The most famous X-Man.
The '90s Anti-Hero. The Mutant Superhero. The Healing Factor Superhero.
The best there is at what he does.
Hi!Calling him the codifier for Mutant and Healing Factor is equal parts gushing and a stretch imo. I'd remove those.
Anime.Puella Magi Madoka Magica has "The Magical Girl Genre Deconstruction". It seems to be a legitimate Trope Codifier, and the rest of the description describes its influence, so should we delete that line for not really adding anything to the page?
Yeah, if the page itself describes how it's the Trope Codifier, then go ahead and delete the line.
Hi!Bit off-topic, but for the sandbox for this, some of the ones should be moved to Complete. I deleted the My Next Life as A Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom! one and nobody's tried to re-add the Street Fighter II one.
Hi!The page currently lacks a proper preface and starts with story recap immediately, so it would be nicer if it gets a short description of what the work is.
I edited Sandbox. The The Trope Archive to reflect the changes, but the sandbox page is open to everyone and you're free to change things when the cleanup is done.
I've discovered the Characters.Star Wars Anakin Skywalker page has the current introduction:
Keep, change or remove?

He/His/Him. No matter who you are, always Be Yourself.I think so for Fallen Hero. He's the page image, the quote's about him and the Film Live-Action folder for Star Wars says this "Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader, who got three whole movies to explain his Start of Darkness, and is generally considered to be the modern-day Trope Codifier for this archetype. Chances are if a villain in a work is a Fallen Hero, at least some of the aspects of their fall from grace will be inspired by that of Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader, even if unlike Vader, they end up being Beyond Redemption."
Hi!Anakin's entire character is defined by being a Fallen Hero so that seems appropriate. Unlike the other examples here, it doesn't have "THE" sinkhole issue with a link to Trope Codifier, either. So I think that one is acceptable.
When looking at Annette Funicello while wiki-walking, I found it had the opening line "The iconic Mouseketeer." Her Mousketeer role is also mentioned in her main description, so... should I turn the lead line into a caption for her photo as "An iconic Mouseketeer" instead, or just cut it?
Until next time...

If you're responding directly to one of my posts, please ping me to make sure I see it.Like we've said for Daredevil and Madoka on this thread, if it's in the description, cut it.
Hi!Have done so then.
Until next time...

If you're responding directly to one of my posts, please ping me to make sure I see it.Chuck Norris has The Memetic Badass in his page. Chuck Norris and his facts became an iconic meme in the internet, how should we handle this one ?
That could be just as strong evidence that the ride is bad, though.
