"Let's just say... We might have won a new car." answers Damien. We pan over to Tropestown High, which has been closed due to the sinkhole. The students leave in droves, causing such commotion with the ground, the sinkhole goes around the school, making a makeshift empty moat.
We pan again to Savannah, who is walking to Tropestown High when she receives a text on her phone from the school.
Due to unforseen circumstances, Tropestown High is closed for the next week.
Agent Johnson is by the school sign and talking to a stoner while the stoner is busy smoking on an obviously hand rolled joint.
"So, man, they're going to cancel my high for a week... like, total bummer."
"You realize they mean the high SCHOOL, right?"
"Yeah, like, totally... I'm the vice principal there, man...."

Outside the entrance, The Mayor is giving a speech to a crowd of people.
"Now then, as you know, this moat won't be easy to fix. But as long as we keep a clear mind and don't panic, we can come together and-"
Suddenly, the podium gives way and the mayor is left hanging on the edge of the moat.
"AAAAAH! SOMEONE! HELLLLP!"

Johnson drives his large black sedan into a gravel parking lot next to the high school. He gets out of the cart, holding a notebook and slamming the door. As soon as the door slams, the ground under the car shudders and sinks down. A similar sinkhole forms across the parking lot.

Johnson studies the trench, trying to measure it, then makes a note. He then flips to a fresh page. "Remember... to... requisition.... new... car... " he mutters to himself as he writes.
"What do you mean the tunnel is blocked off?" demanded the newspaper boy.
