Coyote Vs Acme

This article from the New York Times (published today) is a little doom-and-gloom, but apparently a spokesperson for Warner Bros. confirmed that the film is still being shopped around.

Well, that's at least kinda good news.

If that isn't the definition of "Warner Bros. decided to try again", then what is?

ACriticalHuman tweeted something featuring an image posted by actress Lana Condor.

The image features something on the screen in the background. It's blurry and hard to make out, but it's likely a scene from the film.

In a new tweet by Steven Ray Byrd, he mentions people have been quitting and leaving WB over the whole tax write-off ordeals.

Unless a lot of talented people are quitting en masse, I doubt he's going to notice or care. Executives like him see their employees as replaceable. They're wrong to do so, but they do.

Yeah, Zaslov's shitty business plans are making it less appealing to work at Warner Bros. He's a very short term profit guy. Very short term profit.

Anyways, moving on, I wonder if the OST for Coyote vs. Acme has "Dance of the Comedians", the music heard in the earlier Road Runner cartoons...

Steven Ray Byrd has just tweeted that he has seen the opening scene of Coyote vs. Acme.

He is one lucky bastard.

From what I can gather, he doesn't. Plus, Wile E. only tends to speak when he's paired with Bugs.

I know I said this before, but Steven Ray Byrd actually has a portion of the movie. The first two minutes, that is. He said when he posted the first screenshot from it that he couldn't share the entire two minutes so as to not spoil anything.

Carsten Kurpanek, who said earlier that leaking the movie is a bad idea, has retweeted Steven Ray Byrd's post of the screenshot with the portable hole, proving it's indeed real. He likely recognizes that shot given that he's the editor of the movie.

Also, I see BigBadShadow25 posted something before changing it to "Never mind". What was it? What did it look like? I wasn't there before, so I missed it.

It was fake. It's not worth discussing.

I didn't see it, but I'm guessing it was that fake screenshot from Velma (where Velma calls Coyote vs. Acme advocates "losers") that's been doing numbers on Twitter.

Brave souls who've actually seen the show have confirmed it's fake.
