I don't see why not.
So the page was finally created? Makes sense that a thread about the movie would emerge then.
I don't see a point in making a separate forum since you can still talk about this film on Disney's Live-Action Thread. But yeah I saw the first photo and it looks unintentionally creepy.
“Boom! Boomboom! Boomboomboom! Bakuage Tire! Gogogo!"its a work in progress and we wont actually see it for a loooong time
New theme music also a boxI've seen worse. I give them this: they look creative.
You think that's unintentionally creepy?
Wait till you see the CGI redesigns◊
Art Museum Curator and frequent helper of the Web Original deprecation projectI only recognize one of the dwarfs,Doc but I can't see anyone like Dopy or Grumpy
New theme music also a boxThe one in the red on the right definitely looks like Grumpy. Haha.
Also, the dwarf without beard is definitely Dopey.
I assure you, I'm a completely trustworthy person.also I'm pretty sure Dopey is bold

New theme music also a boxSeeing how Gal Gadot looks as both the Queen and the Witch is gonna be exciting. At least it will to me anyway.
I still get a laugh from the two existing live action movies based off Snowwhite
New theme music also a boxThey took different stances to say the least and each stood out I suppose. Mirror Mirror was okay—like mediocre at worst I suppose—and Snow White and the Huntsman was way, way better than it had any right to be certainly (which again, only made the sequel all the more disappointing too).
I want to give this one a chance without a doubt and I'm hoping that much like The Little Mermaid 2023, it finds the right balance of being familiar while also being its own thing at the same time too (though the golden standard is even still probably Cinderella 2015 to me personally).

Speaking of, why do most people hate Rachel Zegler? I mean the actress who played Snow White.
“Boom! Boomboom! Boomboomboom! Bakuage Tire! Gogogo!"It's mainly because in several interviews she made several remarks that many interpreted as disparaging and/or disrespcting the '30s Disney Animated Film.

Art Museum Curator and frequent helper of the Web Original deprecation projectOh, that's weird.
“Boom! Boomboom! Boomboomboom! Bakuage Tire! Gogogo!"Plus racism and general misogyny.
Theres a thriving hatedom in the manosphere for women attached to high profile movie projects (see Brie Larson for another recent example) and they literally make money from turning such women into targets.
There is some legitimate concern about the movie just not being good due to changes, but it's a bit quieter than sentiments such as "woke Disney is trash" and "shes called Snow WHITE".

Yeah I kinda knew that was the case but I thought it was a different reason.
“Boom! Boomboom! Boomboomboom! Bakuage Tire! Gogogo!"Same people probably complaining about Halle Bailey not being White. When you say things like woke and a woman calling out sexism being sexist towards men, you've lost the argument. I don't want to hear what you have to say.
Brie Larson may be tough medicine, but good for her for not taking any BS. Same with Rachel Zegler.
I've always been curious to see what a remake of the original Snow White from Disney would look like. As said before, I’m gonna give it a chance of course.
I will say, Zegler really did not help herself with these comments. There is genuine things to call out on her behavior and we shouldn't ignore that as just "speaking out against bigotry". Like yeah, part of it just going against BS manosphere loser chuds but going on several disrespecting remarks the source material isn't good behavior that's gonna help your reputation either. Just saying.
That said, I think she's still probably gonna nail the singing scenes in this movie based on the number of covers scattered on YouTube.

Art Museum Curator and frequent helper of the Web Original deprecation projectLooking up her original comments, she never said anything that people on this thread or Disney conversations all over the place don't say all the time.
Specifically, she criticized the original romance for being old fashioned to the point of being a bit stalkerish and creepy from a modern standpoint, which is absolutely not a new or shocking criticism of the original film whatsoever. Disney itself has made that exact criticism before more than once, and ultimately it (and other romances from the same kinds of stories) forms the whole self-parody that is the basis of Hans from Frozen.
So it stinks pretty heavily of people who were looking for an opportunity to tear her down in the first place jumping on something to exaggerate and demonize to justify themselves, like what happened with Brie Larson. It's ridiculous.
And it absolutely should be combined into her dealing with bigotry, because that sort of thing ever happens to women in positions like this, as this sort of backlash is a tool bigots use to try and legitimize their desire to destroy both those kinds of women and these kinds of projects.

"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.Yeah, saying she "didnt help herself" is edging dangerously close to victim blaming.
Especially because when the question was raised you completely failed to mention the relentless bigotry and uncalled for hate she's facing.
If you don't like the comments she made it's easy to ignore them. It's not like shes writing the film or anything.
I did mention the bigotry and the uncalled hate she received.
There's no denying there are bigots just attacked her for simply being a person of color.
Art Museum Curator and frequent helper of the Web Original deprecation projectNot when the question was first raised, though. Instead you went with "people interpreted her comments" which sounds somewhat neutral.
Then you jumped straight to "she brought it on herself" and downplayed the fact that no one in their right mind is going to send hate to an actor for bringing up mild criticisms that boil down to "a movie that's 85 years old is maybe a bit outdated."
Sigh. I don't plan on getting into a debate right now. I'm dropping this subject.

Is it a good time to start talking about the remake now? I know we only have a "first look" image, but the Troubled Production so far is certainly worthy of a "Trivia" page.
