1989 is officially out of the woods! I'll be listening through the Vault tracks more this weekend, but I'm digging this one so far:
Yeah, that's a good one. Wish it wasn't so short.
I think my favorite Vault track is "Is It Over Now?". "Slut!" is also pretty good, though it is not at all what I expected from the title.
So what do you guys think about the re-recorded songs? Most are fine to me, but I really don't like the new "Blank Space" and "New Romantics". "I Know Places" is the most improved song I think.
I'm kind of a closet Swiftie, as otherwise my tastes run more towards alternative rock and heavy metal, and Folklore and Evermore drew me in - I went to the theater for the Eras tour movie by myself and they didn't have the posters out at the time, so I sneakily took one when seeing a different movie at the same theater later (Terrifier2, funnily enough).
I was half-jokingly suggesting that we should have gotten Reputation (Taylor's Version) on Halloween weekend instead of 1989 - the "Look What You Made Me Do" video had Zombie Taylor in it, so it would have been more holiday appropriate.
I'm very much a folklore and evermore era Swiftie. Basic taste, I know.
Art Museum Curator and frequent helper of the Web Original deprecation projectDefinitely excited for reputation (Taylor's Version) next year. After 1989—that TV version released on its ninth anniversary back in October was great, I know it better than any Taylor Swift album.

"You gotta get better, you're all that I've got / Don't take forever, you're not here for long" - AJR, "2085"Excited to hear it. Given the attention Midnights got tonight after more than a year out, Taylor continues to impress certainly.
Was expecting an announcement on when rTV could be released and I have two theories: 8/23 (marks five years since Lover came out) or 11/10 (seven years exactly when the original reputation came out).
Would be great to have Taylor Swift celebrating the Super Bowl with the Chiefs to have Kayne taking the Lombardi trophy and the mic and saying...
"I am happy for you but Joe Montana is the best QB of all time..."
And leave the guys with the biggest WTF face of all time...
When the reputation Taylor's Version album comes out would likely depend on when she plans to release Taylor Swift Taylor's Version as well. The latter is definitely seeming like it's gonna come last of all the TV albums, but we could always get a curve ball though. She's been known to do that.
News from Deadline: Disney Plus has snatched up the streaming rights to the Eras Tour, which they will premiere with five new songs.
The Owl House and Coyote Vs Acme are my Roman Empire.Heh. I would've thought Peacock would since Universal had the digital distribution rights. Good on Disney for getting another Taylor Swift product of all things though. Haha.
