I mentioned learning "aglet" from Phineas and Ferb earlier in the thread, haha. They said "don't forget it" and I guess I took it to heart.

The Simpsons episode "Rosebud" taught me about the word "dry" referring to a place that doesn't have or sell alcohol.

I remember learning the words "Nocturne" and "Aberration" from Flight Rising - they're the names of two of the dragon breeds in the game.

Flight Rising also taught me "arapaima" (one of the genes for Sandsurges - another dragon breed in the game), which is a genus of fish.

Avatar: The Last Airbender is where I first heard about chakras.

Pokemon Sword and Shield taught me about pants meaning "bad" in British slang, thanks to Hop saying that Leon is "pants with directions".

It was Naruto were I first heard of chakras for me.

Cookie Run is where i learned "interval"

I kinda learned "provisions" from Winnie the Pooh, although I had to have it explained that it wasn't just a synonym for "food".

I never heard of the word Egregious prior to discovering this wiki.

I learned the term "Lookism" from the Korean webcomic of the same name.

I learned many words from Martha Speaks and WordGirl, which makes sense since those shows teach various words. I remember my mom being impressed that the latter show taught me the word "vague".

Now, let's get a bit salty. I didn't notice the word "shit" when I first watched Speed Racer and Marley & Me. The first time I noticed it was when a father exclaimed it in frustration while looking for his kid at a midway, which made me worry that he was insulting his kid. Later, I found the word in Willy Freebody's PBS parodies on YouTube. The second 1971 bloopers video taught me the literal meaning of the word when text appeared that said, "Eat dog shit. This logo sucks." (At the time, I actually skipped over most of the video, so I missed out on Bill O'Reilly's F-bombs.)
