There’s a new trailer for a movie called It’s a Wonderful Knife from the writer of Freaky and the director of Tragedy Girls. It’s basically a slasher movie version of It’s a Wonderful Life where the person wishing they were never born is the final girl of a slasher attack and she ends up in a world where the slasher was never stopped:

"Classic Fantastic Comedy but as a Slasher Movie" is such a weird niche to carve out, but it seems to be working.

Ooh! Just thought of one: Dr. Dolittle but a Slasher.

Like, you could have the fakeout Cat Scare, but then the cat starts yelling about a killer on the loose.

There's a movie called Totally Killer coming out recently that is Back to the Future as a slasher whodunit.

Um Big Bad Shadow 25, there's a reason why Slasher Films forum exit. If you want to talk about some Slasher films that aren't a franchise, you can post instead of making a forum.

I wasn’t aware. This is a hard rule?

[up]I don't know to be honest. Sorry if that wasn't a hard rule. And also the movie does sound interesting btw.

Going "what's next for this team of creators" and bringing up similar films, while still keeping it about what the current thread is about, isn't against the rules, no.

Yeah. It's a related topic. And it's not like there's a ton else to talk about in depth with the movie at the moment- A trailer exists, it looks cool, I'm sure conversation will exist but be kinda sparse on film specifics until we actually have the film.
