A Collectors' Thread

For those Tropers who love collecting things: toys, games, movies, books, comics, interesting-looking sticks and rocks, you name it. A place to share some of your biggest, rarest, or just your personal favorite acquisitions.

Me, I collect toys and games mostly, basically anything I'm into and feel like owning. I recently managed to score a good deal for PS3 copies of Transformers: War for Cybertron and The Simpsons Game. I've also been making a display for my Toy Story toys, both old and new.

I collect a lot of things, but one of my big collections is CDs - of a pretty wide variety of artists, too, as you can probably tell.

Boy, I own a lot of junk. Had to sell stuff to make room for new ones.

Is it weird that I have two gunslingers beside a Pokémon trainer and his team?

Guns are canon to the anime, you're fine.

And hey, I've got Master Chief, Johnny Cage and the Terminator next to Aang, Gawr Gura, Minecraft Steve and 60s Batman. I'm not one to judge.

I had a massive Barbie collection as a kid, though unfortunately my mother had to pack them away for safe keeping. I also had a kid book collection and now I mostly collect games.

I collected pony toys as a kid, I still have about 150 of them. At first it was just My Little Pony, but now most of them are fakies.

I've been working on some Super Hero shelves for a long time, and I think now they're at a great point to share with the world!

Does anyone know of a good brand of, for the lack of a better word, "doll stands?" I bought the ThreeZero Anya Forger and she can't stand on her own.

It's a wonderful piece, the material for her clothes is so nice. Though sculpted wonderfully and sturdy, her hands are difficult to remove and insert but the figure as a whole looks great.

I have lots of different interests, so there are a few things that I collect, primarily tabletop miniatures and crafting supplies. Besides that there are plenty of shows and films that I wish to own, especially as physical media. Ditto with some comics that I really enjoy. I've even thought about getting into replica weapons, as well as gear and other things that would be part of a thorough historical re-enactment kit. However, I'm also a bit of a hoarder, but I'm aware of it, so I'm mostly able to resist the urge to be a completionist. It also helps that I have a very limited budget for me-things.

How big is she? The ones I used for my 6-7 inch figures I got cheap on Amazon, they're self-assembly and hold rather sturdy, coming in 3-packs for about $10. For bigger stuff, I recommend something like this which I used for my Woody and Jessie dolls.

I have a small (but growing) collection of dolls. Mainly porcelain ones. Feels like I'm being watched whenever I go to sleep, but I'm used to it by now lol :P
