This is the thread for requesting page moves when you want to preserve the page history.
A few rules:
- We do not handle wicks, indexes and custom titles here. If you ask for a page move, it's still your responsibility to handle these.
- We can't do page splits or mergers here.
- Please refrain from asking moves on pages with no useful history.
- The page mover tool requires that the destination page be nonexistent or cut. If you want to move a page to an existing redirect, please use the Cut List and ensure that the page is a Red Link before coming here.

Yep.
There is no such work and it should have been moved to Characters in the big ComicBook namespace cleanup a couple of years back, but seems to have been missed.
I mean, I could just do it manually - but there are 100+ revisions we'd lose history on.
Not sure if I should move vs. just requesting that Main.Contraband be made so I can edit it:
Move Film.Contraband to Main so I can add Smuggling Index as a target?

The page is a redirect to Characters.X Men Orchis. The character has a section on that page, which is not large enough to split off. If it were, the proper name for the page would be Characters.X Men Moira Mac Taggert. (Work subpages have to include the work name in the title.) I could move the Comic Book redirect's page history to that location.

Even better. I wasn't sure changing page name (rather than just namespace) was an option for pages with high inbounds. Thanks!

In the Web Video namespace cleanup thread I mentioned that despite the Let's Play namespace being deprecated last year, there are still a sizeable amount of pages under that namespace. I mentioned I thought we should discuss what to do with those pages, but all I got was radio silence. Now I'm considering using this thread to move the Let's Play pages to more appropriate namespaces, unless anyone has any objections.

That's a work page to Character/ move, which is kinda iffy, but I don't see any better option because the current page location wouldn't stick around.
