So I don't really know much about the band Umphrey's McGee but somehow a wiki walk led me to their album Zonkey, which is kind of a "Mashup Cover Album", where every track combines elements of at least two different songs. For instance "National Loser Anthem" is a mix of "National Anthem" by Radiohead, "Loser" by Beck, and "In The Air Tonight" by Phil Collins. I particularly like the latter section - somehow Beck + Phil Collins = Gorillaz to my ears.
Another sick one I found is this Novococaine x Phoenix mashup. It's so well done that now I can't hear Novococaine without expecting the lyrics to transition to "Young blood" after the line about "vultures".
Stardust Kids (David Bowie - Lady Stardust vs MGMT - Kids). I remember I ripped this to an mp3 player, put it on, and really confused one of my friends - they knew the MGMT track, didn't know the Bowie but recognized his voice, and thought maybe MGMT just sampled him up.

The Ides of March (in 1970, on their Vehicle album) covered CSN's "Wooden Ships" but mashed it up instrumentally with Jethro Tull's "Dharma For One".
Some songs just seem to go so well together that they're practically meant to be mashed-up. What are some good mash-up songs you've heard?
