Cast for a teen Drama satire

This idea started as a parody of Riverdale, but I decided to broaden it to be a parody of teen drama in general. I was wondering what kinds of characters to include. I want to focus on general archetypes, as opposed to being a Cast of Expies.

Part of what makes Riverdale work, in theory, is that the cast of Archie are timeless teen archetypes: the everyman, the jock, the slacker, the girl-next-door, etc. The archetypes aren’t really different from what you’d see in an 80’s teen movie, the difference is more in how they’re portrayed. Even seemingly “modern” teen archetypes like the social activist or the pop culture geek can be traced back to the 60’s.
