I don't know if there's a thread dedicated to such questions, and I apologize if I'm doing this wrong since it's my first time in this corner of forums, but how does one write a cloudcuckoolander Dork Knight?

The character is a pretty Robot Girl who starts with a typically emotionless demeanor and speaks in Machine Monotone as she hasn't been programmed with emotions (and their recognition) still. She's sent to blend in with an all-human environment (high school) where robots are still a fairly new concept. However, her friends try to help her be more human-like and gain a personality because her lack of personality comes off as creepy In-Universe. She slowly develops an odd dorky personality that's a mixture of robot- and human-like. She's an ace (as she's programmed to be good at many things), which fits Dork Knight, but I don't know how to make her act like one.

A good example of this sort of thing might be Starfire from the old Teen Titans cartoon, where the cloudcuckoolander tendencies partly come from not quite understanding human customs or social cues. In your specific case, dealing with and interpreting emotions she's never had before might also play a part in that—one might imagine moments where she misgauges and gets them mixed up, coming off as loopy.

Yes, your idea is what I'm going for!

Peter Parker in the comics and MCU would be a better example. I think he's awkward and endearingly dorky, but still badass.

That said, I'm not thinking of it being in the lines of an awkward character but more of a silly dork who copies and mirrors others' personalities and actions even in inappropriate situations (A mischievous schoolmate teaches her that the Flipping the Bird gesture means good luck and she does it before a volleyball match to her teammates kinda thing). I meant it in a funny type of dorkiness/oddness that leads to hilarious results/situations because she wants to act like normal humans but doesn't know how.
