Aqua - Tavern 1: Because They Have Numbers Now

"AAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!"

If you assumed Aqua would stop freaking out... well you know what they say about assuming.

"AGE 20? YOU AREN'T EVEN A HIGH SCHOOLER? The legendary hero is supposed to be a high schooler from Japan!"

She frantically shakes Kobeni's shoulders.

"Are you at least a loser!? A shut-in? A good-for-nothing hikki-neet that doesn't do anything all day but play video games and fantasize about naked anime girls and live in your mom's house or live alone but somehow have no job? And what about-"

Her head shakes side-to-side rapidly as she looks around. Some lady was asking about phones? Ugh, reincarnating with a smartphone was a _different_ divine department altogether! And kinda stingy if you asked her, when compared to magic swords and armor and other neat things.

Oh, a funny little rat-looking thing asked her something... she beams with pride as she answers!
"We're in the tavern, duh!"
Wow, how could someone ask her such a stupid question?

Question answered, she resumes shaking Kobeni.

"-oh, what about your boon! Anyone who gets sent to another world gets to have one boon. What'd you pick!?"

The Tavern 1 - Kobeni - The Shakening

Annnnnd all of that effort has been undone by the goddess' sudden shout. By this point, Kobeni's like a motionless ragdoll with how much shaking Aqua does.

"H-Hieeeeeeee-!"

What Kobeni had intended to answer was-

"I-I'm not a loser! And not a shut-in! I mean, y-y-yes, she- wha- I-I-I- I just got fired- But I'm NOT a-!"

What Aqua(and everyone) got instead was...

"Eeeeeeeeeeeeee- Y-y-yes, I'm a jobless loser NEET that only looks at naked girls everyday and still live with my parents-! P-pleaseforgivemeeee-eeeeee.....!"

... Oh wow. Looks like the combination of her initial panic, the vertigo she got from all the shaking along with Aqua (unintentionally) dissing her down had caused the Devil Hunter to break down and start sobbing. Ganbatte, Kobeni!

"B-Boon...?" the poor girl had managed to pathetically spurt out mid-sob.

A small, pink, young puffball-like creature lies down unconscious on the floor. He then slowly wakes up, his head spinning, and he looks around.

"What happened... Where am i, poyo?"

Aqua - Tavern 1: Neetopolis

Aqua slows down, her crying stopping as she starts to smile, eyes darkening as she looks down at Kobeni with ultimate judgment. As if weighing all her sins - yes, even that one - in her view, and finding her wanting.

"Ehehehehe, I KNEW it!!!"

Aqua claps her hands together - at the very least, Kobeni wasn't being turboglomped to death anymore.

Aqua grins a grinny grin. A smug grin. A real genuine look of superiority.

...

She blinks.

Her expression goes pale as she does something rare, and thinks.

She blinks again.

"Oh no, I knew it! I really DID reincarnate you while I was drunk. Waaaaaah! I didn't mean to!" She starts to mope and moan and rubs her eyes with her wrists, giving Kobeni a miserable pout.

"And-and-and-and-and-and I only reincarnate people who already died, so it's not like I did anything bad to you, if anything giving you a chance at a second life means I'm your favorite goddess, right? RIGHT? And all my followers get all sorts of perks - besides having such a cute goddess - like healing magic, and support spells, and resurrection and purification and exorcisifi...cation...."

She tilts her head to the side.

"Exorcism!" She nods in satisfaction at remembering the word, and then rubs her chin. "What kind of a boon...... Oh! They can be things like a powerful weapon, or a tremendous talent! Stuff like a holy sword that always burns the undead, or maxed out hitpoints!"

Tavern 2: Tavern Harder

"What I'm doing is talking to it, I thought that was the courteous thing to do after all."

Baro altered his position sitting a little, going from resting his chin on his arm to a more leaned-back steeped-fingers pose (outsiders may note this as effectively the "all according to keikaku" pose).

"And if that is a 'magical' talking animal, what are you then? Obviously synthetic, a proxy perhaps? And yes by the way I am human; and no I am not gone, I only just arrived after all."

And then some woman in archaic (both technologically and aesthetically) armor started freaking out and calling for presumably her allies.

"Sorry dear, I'm not any of those three. And I don't believe this poor creature is dangerous, after all it tried to reassemble the table so it at least has a rudimentary grasp on manners."

The Tavern

The boy with the stool had been surprisingly calm, all things considered, apart from the fact that he was still holding the stool at the ready and had snuck behind a table for perhaps cover. For the time being, he had taken to simply watching the chaos around him, presumably trying to analyze the situation, sparing a raised eyebrow at Donatello's use of the word 'metaverse'. Upon Enterprise taking control of the situation, he looked at her warily—apparently, he wasn't willing to follow just anyone—but had nonetheless been spurred to put down the stool (albeit with one hand still holding one of its legs in anticipation) and pull a phone from his pocket.

He looked over it, though didn't otherwise acknowledge Enty. "...no service, no change to the Meta-nav's data...what? The camera shouldn't be working, and yet everything in this room appears without issue..."

The boy stood there for a moment, as if trying to decide what to make of this information, before pocketing the phone again...and then immediately noticed the dazed, wet, worse for wear supersoldier who had definitely not been next to him just a moment ago. Evidently on edge again, he once again picked up the stool and whisked around to face him.

"The Palace security must be desperate to send someone clearly injured...or are you just some unlucky abductee after all?"

As for the others in the tavern, the bunnygirls had at least graduated from slapping each other to simply crying. "Um...we have phones..." one of them sobbed. "They're not working, though..."

"Actually, we can call each other...just no one else on our contacts..."

A handful of other patrons began waving their devices in the air, several likewise muttering about how theirs didn't work. A few were watching the more obviously unusual 'guests' with looks of caution, curiosity, or both, marveling at such bizarre sights as Sayaka's transformation or Mai's inexplicable inventory (and giving exasperated looks at Aqua and Kobeni's awkward cry puddle). One of those raising their phones, a guy in about his 20s, pointed to the group forming around Shantae. "Those guys seem like they're about to leave. Maybe we should let them do the scouting?"

The Grodier Tavern

"Uh, you mean the cheetah?" a woman asked sheepishly, clinging to a very large blanket along with a man about her age; it was probably best not to press them about it. "I don't...think so? I think he was just freaked out..."

Some sort of frog person in a dress poked her head out from a not-so-damaged chair. "What's a Maximal? Are you people from the army?"

Tavern 1

He had mostly been trying to suss out whatever he could get from the observations of the strangers all around him at this point. None of this made sense, he had been outdoors, at the river, with things crashing and burning all around him, and anyone catching sight of the Winter Soldier should have been panicking. But it seemed like nearly no one was giving him so much as a second glance.

Until someone...what looked like some sort of teenage boy, abruptly was lashing a stool up, towards him. Admittedly not in an attack, but...everything about this boy gave off an aura of...instability. Violence. Someone who wanted an excuse to be able to lash out.

He recognized that sort of person. And he knew damn well that age didn't mean anything for whether or not a person could be dangerous.

Despite the man's obvious injuries, there was no hesitation at the sign of aggression. He swiftly turned, keeping his injured arm tucked close and balancing himself with the metal one, kicking hard towards the stool, with every intent to boot it back into the teenager and get some space between them.

Whether the hit landed or not, he was immediately drawing back either way, wild-eyed and clearly on the edge, shifting to keep the metal arm up, ready to defend against whatever might come next.

Trevor Belmont's Terrible No-Good Day In The (Assumed) Infinite Corridor - Tavern 1

Rustle, rustle. Rustle, rustle.

A man shuffled glibly through the chaos, looking like he had a particularly bad day. Which, for the most part, was the case; just the night before, he had to beat the stuffing out of some goat-fucking locals who wanted to put him in the ground, followed by having to sleep under a tree in some clammy hole with a broken nose. That's, of course, irrespective of the whole "the entire region is besieged by Dracula and his night creatures" bit.

And now, even though this appeared to be nowhere in Wallachia, Trevor Belmont was definitely not at ease - mostly because it was nowhere in Wallachia, and then some. Either he ended up falling dick-first into the Infinite Corridor or... or something. Something bad. Maybe it was just a hallucination or a bad dream, although he didn't count on it; there was too much here that didn't make sense.

The dreams are, generally, based on one's perception and understanding of the world around them - and a world which had... well, all of this, was not the one he knew. Which, naturally, presented a problem.

...well, the guy with the chestnut hair looking to get stabbed by one of the more disheveled arrivals was very on-point. "Howsabout you nice people listen to the lady with the... hat." Trevor's eyes narrowed at Enty's headwear before he briefly disappeared behind a bar - following Stocking's example - in search of something to soothe the savage soul.

All he got was a Pabst Blue Ribbon. "...why the hell did they put it in a bottle like that...?" He muttered, staring at it with a healthy amount of suspicion. Chestnut and Scruffy were already brawling; at this point, he would bet a Polish grosh on the latter. For now...

"You might want to give those two some space." He called out to people around Scruffy and Chestnut - particularly to the two young women doing some sort of a cruel comedy routine with each other (that being Aqua and her newfound cultist Kobeni).

The Tavern 1 - Kobeni - It's a Wonderful Life!(except not really)

"E-Eh? Eh?"

Now Kobeni's all kinds of confused! ... Which is a step up from mindless sobbing, honestly, but still.

"R-Reincarnate...? Second chance? Dea...?"

Wait...

"D-d-d-did I die?! I'm- Already dead?!?"

Annnnd now she's panicking again for entirely different reasons altogether!

"T-then- is this- Heaven? It can't be Hell, no way, no-! Wait, goddess?! Then-then- you really are responsible! And t-t-t-those sounds like it belongs to a game! T-this isn't a- HIE-EEEEEEEEEE!!"

It looks like Trevor's warning wasn't needed, after all. Whatever words she was about to say got immediately cut off as it was replaced by the sound of impending violence, making the loudest shriek since coming here- Before quickly latching and hanging onto the goddess Aqua for dear life.

"Eeeeeeeek! I'msorryI'msorryI'msorryI'msorry, you're the best goddess ever and I'll never doubt you again, so please please please save me I don't want to die agaaaaaaain!"

The Tavern (not the grody one)

As the kick connected, the bar stool was sent backwards into the boy's sternum, sending him backwards with a surprisingly mild cry of pain. He dropped the piece of furniture (finally), but more noticeable was the flash of blue flames that appeared around him, disappearing just as quickly and leaving him in a very different set of clothes than he'd had only a moment ago.

A form-fitting blue and black suit with a black mask and helmet, and a tattered black cape. Several of the crowd gasped at the unexpected blow and even more unexpected show of magic, with some of those closer to the two having the right idea to clear space. That reaction seemed to jog something in the teen's brain, as for a moment he looked ready to go at the soaked man with full force, only to glance around as if remembering there were too many people for this to be a good idea.

He looked down at himself, evidently surprised, but then returned to eyeing the man for a sign of his next move.

Outside

The handful of people who had wandered outside already would find themselves greeted by essentially a modern city, though with the odd quirk that the buildings around them were unusually angular, as if assembled by blocks. A handful of others were about, most of them confused or panicking or both, with Narancia happening to be in view of an older man and someone who might have been a human teen if you ignored the blue skin and flying staff.

"Yeah, it's really weird," said the teen to the man. "I blink and the entire shape is different. We have shifting mazes at the carnival, sure, but they aren't exactly this big. I don't know that this really helps us..."

Aqua - Tavern 1: Welcome to the Cult

"R-really?"

Aqua pauses in her cycle of crying, goading, complaining and whining to look at Kobeni. To her credit, at least she doesn't strangle the shit out of her when she hugs her right back. It's actually decently survivable.

"I-I mean, yay! Welcome to the Axis cult! Stick with me, and I'll make sure you never die.... Again! Because there was the first one. Okay! Time to celebrate with.... Nature's Beauty!

She whips out a pair of paper fans, and happily flaps them around, a gentle spout of water flowing up from her head, and then raining down on her and Kobeni.

"Um.... Not that your goddess looks down on you or anything but.... An adventuring party does need to be more than just two people. And I don't know when mine will be back from their trip, so your first command is to find people that compliment our strengths! Aqua whistles as she looks around, then nods sagely with a great degree of wise-looking... wise...ness. So your first divine decree is that we need to find at least two more people to round out the creation of a proper adventuring party! Obviously I'm the Archpriest so we have aaaaaall the healing we need, and you can... do whatever you do.... Look, just decide what you're bad at and look around and find out who's strong enough to do it for us!

...

She looks down at the talking puffball.

"I am! I'm the goddess Aqua!!!

She winces as she watches some idiots fighting each other and getting set on fire. Jeez. Didn't these people know that they could break all sorts of valuable bottles here!?

Somehow, It Got Worse - Tavern 1

It's been about a hot minute since he issued his warning, idly fiddling with this accursed bottle of beer(?) - and then things immediately went to shit:

  • The goddess-of-her-entire-ass-hanging-out somehow not only recruited the other girl (well, not "somehow"; the lady looked like sneezing in her general direction would send her skittering away shrieking), but now was letting it get to her head after some kind of a... sentient... slime thing approached her
  • Oh, and Scruffy and Chestnut were now Scruffy and I-Am-So-Obviously-Evil-Look-At-My-Tacky-Getup-Chestnut
  • Also, this beer was fucking terrible.

"You know, I should take issue with an obvious fraud going around and using petty party tricks to trick people..." Trevor gestured towards Aqua with the head of the bottle, having found himself a comfy enough spot at the bar to recline against. "But honestly, anyone dumb enough to fall for it probably deserves to be scammed off their last shirt."

At least the other two hotspots in the room were having a brief pause; guess Chestnut was considering the pros and cons of using his magic against Scruffy...

The Weirdo with the Metal Face

As Robo-Ky was trying to make peace with the cheetah with head patting, let's hope he's not hungry for meat, "Well, it has to be magic; there's no way for an animal to talk," He says, pointing his finger at him before making a sigh from his mouth "I'm a god damn robot, do you not see the metal skin" he says hitting his head with his fist making "Are you blind or something?!"

As Robo-Ky now starts to rant to the man, he stops himself from the voice of a girl, his anger was put away as his head turns to her to see her; taking in a good look at her, he quickly fixes his hair with his free hand, Ky really wanted to go and talk to her, but still; he didn't want the cheetah to go wild or kill something, that sounds bad.

And so he stands up, his hand extending down at the head of the animal with what looks like a wooden extender, beginning to walk to Brigitte, his hand continuing to extend until stopped "Hello knight!" He says with a hand on his chin, "Well-" but before he could speak about the animal, he was interrupted by the other guy, giving him a quick turn and stink eye; he turns back with a friendly look on his face, "Has anyone ever told you that suit goes good with hair" he says snapping his fingers making a metal clank sound.

She then hears the voice of another girl, "Don't worry," he says trying to calm down them, "I'm just your everyday mercenary" he says still trying to pet the cheetah with his extended hand.

"Well, as long as we can still call each other, that should be good enough for now. Thanks for the info," Enterprise surmised with a warm smile and nod at the bunnygirls who'd mentioned being able to call one another. "And I suppose that if people are going to take it upon themselves to act as scouts, I'm not about to stop them, although I can make things a bit easier if I go outside myself..."

She turned to the party heading out the door. "Mr. Turtle!" she called, waving to Donnie. "I assume you heard that just now? Add my number in your phone and send me a text so we can keep in touch! I'm 212-877-9623!" The Ninja might notice something familiar about that particular number: It included the area code for part of NYC - Manhattan, to be specific. Depending on how much he knew of history, the knowledge that she was ostensibly American might help him connect other dots regarding her as well. The name "Enterprise"... The "USN", "The Big E", and the "6" on her shirt... The metallic propeller plane necklace... The words "YORKTOWN CLASS AIRCRAFT CARRIER" on the tag hanging on her right side... Well, those things, and the fact that if you converted her phone number to letters, it spelled "212-USS-ENTY".

"Alright!" she cheered once that was done. "Now, if we could—" She cut herself off with a sigh at the sound of a brewing brawl.

Striding quickly over to stand between Bucky and the lad he'd struck, the grey-haired woman held a hand out firmly to each of them in a clear "stop" signal. "Listen," she began, calm but firm as she glanced between them, "I know that this situation is strange to everyone, maybe even frightening, but we're not going to get anywhere by fighting each other. Let's take a deep breath, relax, and figure out what to do next. Speaking of..." She turned fully toward Bucky, sternness morphing into a soft look and sympathetic smile.

"You're injured, Soldier," she observed the obvious in a gentle voice. "We need to get that broken arm of yours looked at before anything else. I know we've just met, but I know what the battlefield is like, and I can tell you've either just arrived from one or are having a much worse than usual day. I promise you that you can trust me not to harm you so long as we all do our best to keep everything peaceful, if you'll grant me that. Alright?"

Outside Grody Tavern

Narancia slowly scanned the street, dumbfounded. He couldn't tell where this place was, but it didn't feel like Venice—or like Italy, for that matter. What was up with these crazy-looking buildings? And... why was the street so empty? There were no cars—not even parked ones—and just a handful of people, all of them seemingly as confused (and oddly costumed) as the ones in the building.

Narancia felt panic well up in him. What was he supposed to do? If only Bucciarati was here—

He loudly slapped his face with both hands. Okay, I have to calm down! I can handle this even without the others! I defeated Formaggio all on my own, didn't I?! I'll find this shithead too, and kick his ass all the way into his neck!

Kobeni - Tavern 1 - First Quest: Founding a Party?!

Had the Devil Hunter been calmer earlier, she would have noticed that a few things wouldn't add up- Did she really die? Is Aqua really a goddess? Can the abduction of everyone here really be explained so simply by one... honestly irresponsible-looking goddess?

Unfortunately, calm Kobeni decides to take a backseat and let panicked Kobeni take the reins, unaware of what she's signing herself into. Had the fight been resolved earlier, perhaps she may have had time to put two-and-two together. Alas.

In addition to that, nooooow Kobeni's clothes is drenched from Aqua's little party trick. But that didn't matter to her, yes! She always has more from... her... place...

...

... N-Nevermind that! Just stick close to the goddess and she'll probably be fine! Right?! Kobeni as of this moment just nods to Aqua's every word, with an occasional 'Y-yes!', 'Of course!' and 'A-a-a-absolutely!" thrown in-between, for good measure!

Then...

"... Eh?"

She points to herself.

"You... want me... t-to... find people, a-a-and join up...? HEEEEE....?!"

... She could barely keep herself in control, a-and the Goddess wants her to find people to lead?! B-but if she's a goddess, then- then- isn't she supposed to be enough?!

B-b-but if Kobeni complains, what if Aqua decides to abandon her? S-she can't have that! So with a reluctant gulp and a looksie around, she-

Well, she didn't have to look far- there was that grump drunkard(Trevor) that talked to them just now and oh-so-casually insulted their abductor(does he not care about what happens to him?!)... the pink blob(Kirby) thing t-h-t-that's definitely a Devil despite its innocent appearance, no two questions about that!

And... someone... with a chimney for a leg(Chimneyfoot)...

... AaaAAaaAAah- Is this... really...

"H-h-hey-! Um-...." A quivering Kobeni could be heard, trying(and failing) to smile naturally as she approached them, coming across as nervously stilted instead as if in fear of offending them!

"S-So! Erm- w-w-would you... l-l-l-like to j-j-j-j-j-"

You can do it, Kobeni!

"J-j-j-j-joint the Axis cult and form a party with me?!?"

Ah- She cut her tongue at the end there.

Saria - Tavern 1 (The Nice One)

Right, phones. Saria took hers out to get a proper look. Signal, yes. Maybe she could try to call someone... as soon as the current situation was defused, of course. Speaking of which...

"I did warn you to put down the stool," she admonished Recently Changed Chestnut (she didn't exactly have anything else to call him) as she walked past him and Enterprise. "I'll try to take a look at his wounds, don't worry."

And thus the Vouivre stood face to face with the very evidently still shell-shocked soldier, she did what she does. Speak frankly and without reservations.

"Sir, you need to stand down, both for your own safety, and of those around you. You are wet, bloody and your arm is clearly injured beyond usability. There will be no more fighting in this tavern for as long as I'm here. If you sit down for thirty seconds maximum, I'll see that your injuries are healed, and you'll be free to do as you please. You can refuse and leave now if you'd prefer, but you risk hypothermia, bloodloss, or potentially losing your wounded arm altogether. Further attempts at violence will see you, or anyone else, for that matter, she clarified at the rest of the people present, "subdued immediately. Have I made the situation clear enough?"

Tavern The Second

Over in a dingy corner of the dingier tavern, a man and his dog suddenly appeared. Gromit immediately started looking around in a panic, while the man named Wallace rubbed his head and groggily forced his eyes open.

"By 'eck, what a weird dream...Oh! Breakfast already, lad?" Wallace scratched his chin and looked about in puzzlement. "My word, Gromit, this doesn't look like the Forshaws Hotel. Seems more like that less-than-premier inn we stayed at on that night down in Wales. Is this a layover stop, Gromit? The last thing I remember was stalling as we turned off the M6. Must've overdone the wine and cheese at some point since then..."

Gromit was decidedly less calm than his master/friend right now. He knew that absolutely no time had passed since they'd been on the road. They'd hit the turn-off, the van had stalled, and then EVERYTHING had stalled. Wallace's usual babbling had turned repetitive and distorted, and Gromit had thought he'd been having a stroke. Then suddenly the world went crunchy, there's been a green icon like one of Wallace's computers rebooting, and suddenly they were here...wherever here was. Slowly and deliberately, trying to keep his nerve, Gromit rose from his seat and scanned his environment.

"Oh, going to order are you?" asked Wallace with a guileless grin. "Could you put me down for some scrambled eggs and bacon? I'm just going to check where we parked the car." With that Wallace got up and made a beeline for the door.

Alarmed, Gromit rushed to try and catch him. It wasn't safe to split up in a strange new place like this. But before he could reach Wallace, Gromit was distracted by something truly bizarre. A cheetah, talking to a group of people who were all dressed up in bizarre metal costumes. Either he and Wallace had got swept up in some kind of mad inventor's convention centred around talking animatronic beasts...or Gromit really did have a stroke after all and was hallucinating. Neither was outside the realm of possibility right now.

Regardless, Gromit found himself unconsciously stepping closer, unable to take his eyes off the bizarre gathering. If one of those already present were to turn around, they'd find themselves being approached by a mystified beagle walking towards them on his hind legs.

Tavern 1 - Near the Drunk

Hunk evaluated his situation, parameters of the mission had changed. Keeping quiet about his job wasn't going to change much at this intersection, truthfully it didn't look like anyone here knew what he was or who he worked for.

The report he'd have to write to Umbrella would be staggering for sure. He clicked the safety on his SMG and holstered it back over his shoulder, the weight of all his weapons and ammo bringing some small familiarity and comfort.

He stepped over to the man at the bar, Hunk had hand picked recruits for the Umbrella Security Service before, he had an eye for talent. Something about this man said he was in a similar field and he stepped forward.

"What is your name?" Hunk asked with a bit of authority in his tone. "You seem the least surprised by our current circumstances, familiarity with the unusual?"

Outside Tavern 2

As he was thinking, someone else exited the building, and he turned to look at them. It was a... well, a surprisingly normal-looking guy, with an oddly unconcerned look on his face.

"H-hey, you! Who are you?," Narancia asked Wallace brusquely. "Do you know where the fuck we are?"

Tavern 2

"Hey, I'm not a pet!" hissed Cheetor, his ears pressed back against his head as he tried to resist the urge to bare his teeth-the long ago decision to deactivate the programming block separating his instincts from his higher reasoning skills sometimes manifested itself in unusual ways. "My name's Cheetor; I'm a Maximal, see?" Then, without thinking- "Cheetor, maximize-aaaagh!"

System error. System error. came the unnaturally calm voice of his onboard computer as his components unsuccessfully tried to shift form, briefly exposing layers of circuitry and metal beneath. Sparks arced across his back and he momentarily lost his footing. "Last thing I remember," Cheetor continued, the moment he'd caught his breath, "we were heading home... then, suddenly, I'm..." he waved a paw around by way of illustration, "... I'm here, and I can't transform!"

Donnie, Heading Out

"I'm Donnie," he called back to Enty, but started typing in her number anyway. Oh, she lives in New York too, interesting.

...and then he noticed everything else about her. Like the name "Enterprise", and all the stuff on her shirt, and the propeller plane necklace...Donnie wasn't much of a history student, but planes were among his interests.

What sort of—

And then out of nowhere someone burst into the tavern and started kicking. Donnie's eyes went wide. "O-kay, time to go!" And he very swiftly made his way out.

"Kept me waiting, haven’t you? Tch. No matter. Dawdle all you’d like. In the end, your defeat remains inevitable."

Tavern 1 - getting ready -> The streets

Shantae crossed her arms, glaring at Donatello.

"You've got a lot of nerve, Donnie!" she said, about to tell the ninja turtle off for being thick-headed and narrow-minded, before the taverngoers started to work themselves up even further and Donatello rushed out of the scene. She shook her head, fuming for a moment.

"Good riddance," she muttered angrily, then sighed and turned towards Nia, who asked to join in. "Of course you can come. As long as you're not gonna be a thick-headed jerk like that turtle was!" She put her hands down, leaning them on her hips, glancing over towards Daisy. Her eyes lit up when Daisy suggested she use her genie powers.

"Good idea! We'll step outside. Teemo, you lead the way and scout around. Everyone else, let me transform and I'll carry you guys around."

She stepped out of the tavern, briefly distracted by the sights around her. It was like no city she'd ever seen. The buildings seemed to be made of metal and glass for the most part, and in a seemless mishmash of styles. Whoever built this city had no eye for architecture. No palm trees, no bazaars, no sandy buildings or bathhouses. She brought herself back to reality and turned towards the others.

"All right! Time for a little genie magic! I'm ret-2-go!" she exclaimed. With a smile, she struck a pose, raising her arms. Her hips began to sway, and she twirled, moving gracefully and dancing for a few moments. Then she struck another pose, standing firm, and holding her hands out in a triumphant manner. "TRANSFORM!" she exclaimed. With a bright flash of pink and yellow light, Shantae was engulfed in a magical flash.

When the flash subsided, Shantae had been replaced with a great elephant, purplish in skin tone with golden rings around her legs, hoop earrings in her enormous ears, a golden diadem on her forehead, and a blue carpet covering Shantae's back. Her eyes, wide and and happy, looked over her new companions, and she trumpeted triumphantly. She then knelt down, gesturing with her trunk to request they climb on her back. If they tried, she would use her trunk to assist them.

Tron Bonne - Tavern 2

The Gustaff materialized inside the tavern, a red and pink bipedal tank standing about half-again as high as an average human, the left arm ended in what was quite clearly a cannon of some sort, and the slightly cartoony-robotic circular skull emblem on it's chest and built into it's back so that the 'teeth' opened and closed slightly when it bent forward.

"What the heck?!" the voice of a shocked teenage girl played over the speakers before Tron had the foresight to cut them off while she tried desperately to figure out what was going on. "What did you idiots do?! Number 32! Number 12! 41? ...Teisel? Bon? Hello?! There was no response on the radio on any of the standard channels the Bonne family used, nor any of the backup channels she could think of before finally setting the radio to transmit and receive on as wide a frequency as the Gustaff could manage "Number 1, if you can hear me you'd better pick up!" Naturally there was no response from the Servbots or anyone back home. But all gauges, monitors and readouts surrounding the girl in the cockpit showed everything was working fine despite the unfamiliar grody tavern interior.

The Gustaff turned it's head and bright blue optics slowly around the room, whatever was going on was clearly unfamiliar to everyone else here. That was, not exactly comforting, but at least it seemed like there wasn't anything that needed to be shot just yet. Tron's grumpy but otherwise calm voice came from the speakers again as Cheetor's malfunction caught her attention "Sparky here isn't going to explode or anything, is he? Cause if so this has to be one of the least efficient bombing attempts I've ever heard of"
